Jack had been stewing over what Adries had said back in the apartment. He walked over and leaned next to her. He whispered into her ear.
"In 10 minutes you are going to meet me in the hall and you will tell me everything you know about what is going on here. You will not lie to me, you will show up, and I expect you to divulge everything. You may bring anyone you want with you, but I expect answers. Should you fail to do this, I will bring my concerns about your actions to the rest of the group. It will be up to them about what to do, but if you do as I say, this whole thing will simply remain between you, me, and whoever you bring with you. I'll see you in 10."
With that Jack walked out of the room and into the hall.

With that Jack walked out of the room and into the hall.
Adries looked shocked at what Jack had said, and as soon as he left jumped to where he was and immediately started chatting with him. They both whispered frantically to each other, quickly escalating in some yelling before they calmed back down.
"What should we do?"
"Nothing?"
"Stop being so mellow!"
"Play dumb?"
"I hate you. Do we talk alone or what?"
"We should kill him."
"Yea- wait what?!?"
"Yeah. I'll get Parker to bite him and then he'll be poisoned! Then we'll stuff him in the freezer!"

"I'm a genius!"
"We're not going to do it you know."
"Hey, I just realized that everyone probably heard everything."

"Nothing?"

Jack kept his ak ready for anything that might happen as he fumed about the days events and muttered to himself.
"Can't believe I apologized. She endangered the entire group. The information she has could lead us to answers and she was hiding it all along. Never should have trusted her. I'm going to get answers though."
((I left the room jad, Adries is talking with Alan at the moment. Damnit I'm wayyy to used to using character names.))

With that, Adries moved back to looking at the zombies on the monitor, keeping a lookout at the clock.

With that, Adries moved back to looking at the zombies on the monitor, keeping a lookout at the clock.

"Are you guys ploting murder or am I hullicinating?" he asked thinking of the painpills in his pocket
He was still feeling a bit woozy from the dose of pain medication he had taken, but was sure he was hearing talk of murder.

Eleven minutes later Jack knew she wasn't going to give him answers willingly.
"Alright if that is how you want to play this then Adries, let's play."

"Alright Adries the lying stops here and now. I want answers and I want them now." Jack said his voice completely calm.

"You're hallucinating it all!" Alan yelled as Jack entered. He immediately became silent and went back to typing.
Adries looked up from the screen. "I don't know what you mean at all Jack. What on earth are you talking about? I say it's the stress. You should take a nap and maybe have a tasty ice cream or a drink!" she said, playing her part of a confused yet sweet teen extremely well.

"Drop the act, you aren't fooling anyone Adries." Jack said, his tone calm but making sure to get the point of 'quit screwing around across'.

He said something about their aunt possibly having something to do with this. Now, we have all been told countless times how intertwined her family is in the affairs of this city. So would it honestly surprise you if ,overhearing this comment, I wanted to know what her aunt did? I offered her the chance to share it with me in private, but as she didn't take that option eleven minutes ago, I think that she should explain it to all of us. I figure, if it is worth risking all of our lives over twice, then it is most definitely worth knowing. Wouldn't you say so Adries...everyone?"

Adries glared at Jack, standing up tall and declaring, "I know not of what you speak. I don't remember this conversation at all. Do you Alan?"

"Yeah. So, Jack. Are you sure you weren't just thinking things? Yes, my family is a big part of the city, but what would make you think they know anything? If you remember correctly, we fought off MY COUSIN! If he knew anything about it then why would he get infected!?! And, if you forgot, my father is out there DEFENDING the lives of hundreds of people in that barricade! So don't walk in here and act like you know something! You don't know anything about this!" Adries roared, not amused with Jack's implications. She hoped that playing the sympathy card would help with her cause.

He began to feel his headaches again, grunting, he pulled out his bottleof painpills and swollowed a piar of pills.
"Are you sure you have nothing to tell us Adries, because if we find out somthing to the contrary later, we might never trust you again."

"We have all lost things Adries. When this went down I lost all purpose in my life, others have lost families and homes, and others have lost their sanity and lives! Yet you still don't trust us with the truth! Have we not proven ourselves, are we not good enough, are of we no help to you!? Perhaps we are only tools in some sick game or experiment, with you as the observer, I honestly can't tell anymore.
Help me out here Adries because I don't know what the hell is going on! That simple fact makes me more scared than I have ever been in my life or since this thing started. Adries was silent for a moment. Weighing the odds was something she was both great and horrible at; always choosing the side with the most pros even if it meant hurting/alienating others. It's why she never had many friends. She kept a cool front as she analyzed the situation. The answer was clear to her from the beginning, but she felt that her new 'friends' deserved to have their side looked at.
After a few minutes, she opened her mouth and said, "I know nothing. Nothing at all."

"I see you've made your decision. Goodbye everyone, I shall hope to see you either in the safe zone or wherever the hell people go after death. I hope I would have proven myself enough to at least be able to take ammo for my weapon, food, and water with me." Jack's face fell after he said that.
He turned and walked out of the room silently. He walked over to Ivan and asked him for a hunting knife. Jack walked back to the chem room and on the left side of the door he scrawled 'To the survivors: I wish you all the best of luck.' and on the right he scrawled 'To Adries: Et tu, Brute?' with that he pointed the gun at the wall and fired twenty-one shots in a straight line. He thought to himself "At least I have gotten my twenty one gun salute." as he set about collecting all the things he would need to be able to either silently watch over them, find answers, or get to safety.
((Even if I leave the school don't think I'm about to leave the RP.))

Adries groaned as she heard the gunshots, figuring out what it was immediately. She walked outside of the room and walked over to Jack. She raised up her hands when he pointed his gun at her, "I'm doing this to protect everyone."

Charles looked around, everyone seemed concerned about the gunshots, Charles rationalized that twenty one shots meant that Jack did not do anything to hurt himself. Still he was worried about Jack and Adries. He picked up his Spas-12 and peered out in the hallway. He heard Jack and Adries's voices coming from another hallway andhe tiptoed to the corner and began to eavesdrop. He kept his gun close.
"No, you aren't Adries. Whether you think you are or not, you aren't. Keeping secrets will ruin the trust and cohesion of the group. They will die...and their blood will be on your hands, not mine. I hope you understand the true weight of what you have done here today, though I fear you don't. You are their sole leader now, I hope you show them more trust in the future than you did to both them and myself now." He started to walk away.
"We would have helped you to the best of our abilities if you had told us. I honestly didn't care if your aunt was responsible, the past is beyond us now. I just hoped that she would have left us some clue, and that you would have trusted us enough so that we might have a future." He started grabbing crates to load supplies into.
