Charles saw that there was about a group of twent former student from the high school milling around outside.

"Tell everyone to arm themselves, we don't know what they're here for and I don't want to chance it." he wispered

After a few minutes, eight of the ten students were by his side armed with a variety of guns and bludgeons. The other two were keeping the little kids occupied uptairs. Charles motioned the students outside to come over to the window opening, whenre they wre several feet out he motioned for them to stop.

"What are you doing here?" he asked "You guys said you wanted nothing else to do with the school?"

A boy and a girl who had both been seniors steped foreward

"We want back into the school" said the girl "It's bad out there, worse than we thought we just want to be somwhere safe."

Charles groaned "When you guys left you seemed preety sure you knew how to survive. What happened"

The boy spoke up "We found a small grocery store, it was abandoned, but well stocked, we thought we could hole up for a few day. That nightthis huge giant thing knocked down the metal barrier and the smaller zombies swarmed in. We got outintime, but we lost around twenty people. We wandered around for a while, but we kept geting picked off thill there was just around thirty of us left. Most of us wanted to come back, but some in the group wanted to get to the police station, we split up and here we are."

Charles sighed, he couldn't leave them out there even if they would be a drain on their resources. He talked it over with the people inside. It was agreed they would let them in one at a time, being sure to look over everyone's body to make sure no bites were there.

"We're gonna let you back in guys, but we have to make sure you have no bites. I know you guys are going to hate this, but we need everyone to come in one at a time and strip down so we can ensure yo have no bites."

Everyone outside began to yell, the girl practically screamed "You can't do this to us, what are you freaks?"

They yelling continued untill Charles shot a round into the sky

"Look" he yelled "We're not enjoying this either, it's no fun to strip away a person's dignity to make sure our own skins are safe, but it's nessisary."

Gradually the crowed grew subdued and then the boy and girl spoke

"Isin't there another way? We'll do it, but can't you find another way to detect if we're bitten?"

Suddenly an idea dawned on Charles

"Someone get me Rosie." he said

Adries sighed, looking at the rain puddles. Things were just not going as well as she'd like. 'And now it's getting really cold. I hope it doesn't get close to snow or anything. That'd suck,' she thought, 'Alan would like the snow though. Hell, if we head to the cabin there would be snow.'

************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Suddenly, the air around Adries became unexpectedly warm.

"That's better" she said, starting to fan herself.

The air then went from warm, to hot, to burning hot. The rain puddles around Adries feet started to steam and evaporate, the soles of Adries boots started to melt. Something's wrong. Adries tried to move, but her boots were permanently fused to the ground. Suddenly the thick hot air around Adries started to form a bubble in front of her. The bubble released itself violently, sending Adries out of her shoes and into the wall of the police station.

A figure stood were the bubble once was. It's tall body was covered in flames, it's hands, feet, and back were spiked and rough. Adries scrambled to her feet, and attempted to shoot at the thing, but the hot air around it made it impossible to hit. Ivan heard the gunshots and went outside to see what was going on. The monster immediately caught his attention.

"What the hell is that?!" Ivan said.

But before he Adries a chance to answer, he threw a grenade at the monster, in hopes to give them time to get away. But instead the monster caught the grenade and ate it. As it went off in his body, his flames grew taller. Adries and Ivan looked on in shock.

"Do you think mere bullets and explosives can stop me? Fools. Seeing that it won't be long before i kill you both, I've decided that we should play a little game. you both got 10 seconds before i reduce you both to cinders. The clock is ticking..." He said.

Ivan and Adries took this chance to run inside for help. The Monster laughed manically.

"I love it when they run." He said, before forming a another bubble around him and teleporting away.

I present to you all THE INCINERATOR!!!
and here's some advice:

-Explosions and Explosives won't kill him (actually, any type of explosion will just make him stronger)

-Bullets just make him angrier

-And he can teleport

Have fun, trying to kill him! ^^

((Oh...shit. But in a good shit way. Like, yay a boss but also, crap he's strong!))

Adries burst into the main hall yelling about the fiery monster outside. Alan jumped up as did everyone else. "We need to get the fuck out of here!" she yelled, pointing behind her.

"Adries, there isn't anything there," Alan replied, looking at the opened door with a confused look.
"What, shit. Ivan can vouch for me! Look, we need to go. Where is the exit?" she asked, constantly looking around her to see if the monster was there.
"There is one in the Academy," Alan answered.
"Good, also everyone; guns don't work," Adries said, getting groans and curses from everyone.

Lisa struggled to get her boots on while she got to her feet. She grabbed her weapon, prepared to leave. Her eyes still heavy from just waking up, but her body ready to move.
"Well, What does work?!"

"We're going to have to wait and see, first we should get out of here. Let's move. I'll cover the back." Christie ordered, allowing the rest to head on while she considered what actions to take. She pulled her personal Bowie-knife from it's holder in an fallback action while she thought.

"Aww, crap I don't have shoes anymore," Adries muttered, noticing Lisa putting her's on then looking at her feet.

"Don't step in glass," Alan told her, "Alright, if we run straight down the academy then go through it there should be an exit there. If my memory serves me correctly." Alan led them all to the academy hallway, looking back and forth to make sure there was no monster.

Jack had run out with Christie at the sound of gunfire and an explosion. He quietly thought 'Shit not this again' before speaking.

"Well if it's on fire as you say, we would need some kind of high pressure water source. Unless the city's fire department is nearby we are going to be running for a while." Jack said

Lisa followed suit, unsure what she should look out for but keeping sharp anyway.
"You going to be okay Adries?" She asked when they were up the set of stairs and out of Earshot from Christie.

Christie scanned the area, keeping the knife brandished. No strategy could come to mind until she saw what this thing was.
"There must be some form of replacement available near here..." She muttered to Frank.
Is this the thing they warned me about?
Her thought was cut short by the heat she suddenly felt.

"I'll be fine as long as I don't step in anything sharp or gross," she replied as she walked with Alan into the Academy. After making sure the coast was clear he had them follow him through the back, where there was a door that said 'Exit'.

"And I was right, as usual," he said, shifting through his keys to find the one that opened it, "It's stupid that you need a key for this. I mean, just makes things slightly harder."

"How stupid...This counts as an emergency exit and you have to unlock it first?" Lisa muttered, keeping a look out while Alan found the key.
"Do we just drive away after we get out of here? Or do we have a plan on how to stop this thing?"

Christie turned seeing what seemed to be a bubble. Her eyes widened as she shoved Frank out of the way and the bubble released itself, the extreme heat radiating more. She got to her feet, only to dodge an oncoming fireball, then another and another.
"Dammit!"

"Well...it's not an emergency exit. I think it takes us outside to the training area. It's like an exit dammit! They probably locked it in case any zombies got into the yard," Alan said, finding the key and opening the door. He took a step outside and looked around the yard.

It was barren, an obstacle course that would never be used again. "Well, the gate is over to the left, but I don't know what we'd do after that. Our vehicle is back in the front of the station, and we're in the back," he said, turning to them, "And, as I'm sure you can hear, there are moans coming from over the gate."

"So, If we want to avoid whatever it is that's going to try and burn us to death, we're gonna have to shoot through the crowd of zombies that's waiting for us outside the gate? Can't anything ever be easy? Okay, Well which do you want to go with?" Lisa asked, stretching a little beforehand. Either way, she was gonna be running.

"We can always go into the hotel," Adries said, pointing to the one to the right of the station, "Climb over the wall and jump into one of those windows. I say we go with that."

"Sounds like a plan," Alan replied, running over to the wall and climbing up it, "If we hurry the zombies won't know where we went. It's safer then trying our luck out here."

"Too true, Good idea Adries." Lisa said following, putting her gun up first then climbing over and landing on her feet. While she was on the wall she could see the horde of zombies shambling outside the station. There were enough that could've overtaken them, so a hit of relief hit her chest as she waited for the others to climb over.

Hiding behind a pillar, Christie took deep breaths while the Incinerator searched for her. A scorch mark was seen on her right leg, she cursed in her head trying to be as quiet at possible. This thing's offense is tremendous. I hope Frank is holding up better than I am.
She considered peering from her hiding place to look for him but stopped herself.

Adries made it over with the help of her brother and they went inside the hotel. There was the smell of decaying flesh in the halls, either zombies, dead zombies, or dead people. Only a few of the lights were on, all flickering every few seconds.

"This feels like a bad idea, I hate you Adries," Alan said, trying to turn on more lights, "Does anyone have a flashlight? I think that might help a bit."

Lisa shook her head, "Sorry I don't have one. Adries? Please say you have."
She had covered her nose with her sleeve to mask the choking smell for a few moments, the other hand near the trigger on her gun. The feeling of death lingered, making the feeling of anticipation even worse.

"Only one of these really tiny ones on my keychain," she replied, bringing it out and lighting very little of the hall.

"Boo, fuck it my lighter will bring more light than that," Alan said, flicking his lighter and also barely lighting anything, "Er...well there is already some light...so it's detracting from my light and stuff. Fuck, what do we do now?"

"Now we should take a moment and think. Can we fight the monster or do we run away?" Adries asked, "I can't think of a way for us to fight the monster at all. But we certainly can't stay here."

((Hey, if anyone pre-ordered L4D2 and has the demo early I'd be willing to play it with you. I dunno if I'm the only who is getting it early though.))

"Well, How do you fight it? You said that bullets were a no-no. I'd be okay with running but how would we signal to Jack that we were leaving without alerting it...Ugh..."Lisa groaned in annoyance.
"Sorry. It's just, I don't think we've been this trapped before..."

(((I've pre-ordered it, but i haven't got the demo. Sorry >.<)))

((It's okay. I'll find someone to play it with if it's the last thing I do! Technically I don't have the demo yet, but I'll get it tonight when I get the damn code...))

"We just need to calm down and think," Adries said, pacing around them all trying to think of something, "The fire station is all the way over by the tv station, I don't think we'd make it without a vehicle. I mean, we could try...but."

"So, is it fire based? It is? Alright well...water would be the first thing I'd use to fight it, but the rain didn't stop it...where would we have stuff like liquid nitrogen or something?" Alan asked, before adding, "Remind me Adries that I have something to show you when we have time that isn't being invaded by monsters."
