Frank West - by the time he's leveled to the max he knows an all manner of lethal moves and is also fully capable of using heavy weaponry. He's covered wars, y'know.
That would have been "Mercs" or something like "ESPN Hockey 97/98" {or that approximate year} on the Megadrive.
Good times.
Update: Oh, and of course - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (:
However that might not be right, but stuff along those lines.
Chaos Theory is my favourite, and then RB6: Vegas - so my vote went for Splinter Cell.
I love the sneaking around and stealth action, and the co-op gameplay was always great fun with a buddy.
The one I play most often consistently is the engineer, but I will also have long spells as the demoman {grenade jumping into the other teams spawn on 2fort (:} and the spy {backstabs ftw}.
Pyro is another favourite {easy kills =D } and headshots and taunts as sniper are fun - you can't argue...
Gordon Freeman from the Half Life games... He's respected by all, and is just plain badass.
Or my version of Frank West on Dead Rising, he's looking awesome in a pinstripe suit, orange converse and aviators.
God of War and Patapon I can imagine being very good.
From the ones I have, GTA:Vice City Stories and Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters are the ones that received the most playtime.
Releasing Haze before Timesplitters 4 is one of the biggest mistakes FR could make - people's faith in them will be at a low.
Can't wait for TS4 nonetheless (:
