    DJ hero, do we care?

I don't see the problem, as long as it appeals to someone out there. I'm pretty darn bored of my little plastic guitar, so maybe one day I'll give it a try. I think the fact I don't really know anything about the DJ scene might make it a little more interesting. That said, I have no immediate...

What full length games have you beaten in one sitting?

I'd call bullshit on a good few of these, but I'm too lazy. The only games I can think of are Lost and Shadow Complex. I only beat Lost in on sitting because I knew I'd never go back to it if I stopped. Other than that I don't beat games in one sitting, I prefer to savour them. I loved...

What is a game series you wish would just die already?

I’ll tell you what game really gets on my tits. The game where we all pick on games we don’t like, regardless of their merits in the eyes of those that do. On the other hand there are a handful of games I really do like, games like Grow Up and Get a New Hobby. They’re both...

    Borderlands > Fallout 3?

Exactly, all of which make for one horrible FPS, and a really rather interesting RPG. By your logic, Valkyria Chronicles is a third person shooter, simply for having guns in it.

    Borderlands > Fallout 3?

You're insane, man! Fallout 3 was, first and foremost, an RPG. That's what I'd like to think anyway, because it makes for a disgusting FPS...among the worst, in fact.

What's so bad about Far Cry 2?

I have to agree. Other than the glitch that meant I had to beat the last quarter of the game without dying, I loved it. The action was truly frantic, and even when my little plans didn't always go well, the game did a good job of making my improvs feel awesome. It's slower paced than your...

Poll: What type of RPG do you prefer?

I hate to sound like I’m defending JRPGs, because their by no means my favourite genre, but all this sexually ambiguous rubbish people keep spouting is kind of wearing thin. It just shows people to be a little ignorant an immature. Sure, JRPG characters, by and large, aren’t the...

People that don't use an IPod what do you use?

A 4GB Creative Zen, all scratched to hell.

So how many of oyu have cancelled your MW2 pre-orders? (PC)

This. This. A billion times this. I have no doubt the multiplayer will be fun, but I couldn't care less to be honest. I’ll be buying it for the single player, though I doubt I’ll be pre ordering it.

    Favorite Mythological Creature

Is it worth pointing out that Cthulhu has nothing to do with mythology? It is, after all, a Lovecraftian invention and nothing more. That said, I find Quetzalcoatl, and to a lesser extent, Circe, quite interesting.

    Favourite sad song

What Sarah Said by Death Cab for Cutie. I can in no way relate to it, but it's pretty moving.

    Poll: What's your stereotype?

You kids and your binarisms. It's all relative, someone may call you a gamer and someone else might just call you a geek. We shouldn't try to fall into stereotypes; people will eventually make their own mind up about you anyway. That said, it's never a good thing to fall into the most...

What's the longest book you ever read?

I'm British. But I think we're talking about the same two volumes. It's a great collection, though I prefer the first volume. He is by far one of my favourite writers.

What's the longest book you ever read?

Nope, there's a whopping two of us! I'm a big fan of Cortázar's short stories more than anything, but Hopscotch was a mighty good read. I'd have counted his short stories as the longest book I've read, but the edition I have is split into two volumes so that's cheating I guess.

What's the longest book you ever read?

I never got through either of those books. Lord knows I tried. Hopscotch and House of Leaves are pretty long books, made to feel longer by the fact they're not really read in any particular order. One Hundred Years of Solitude is also a good 800 pages, I'm nearing the end of that.
