Maybe some Shakespeare villains, like Richard III, Iago (you know he's done some bad shit), or Claudius. If not, then I would think that Nero would always be a good pick - the inspiration for the Antichrist. Can't go wrong there.
I guess I'm part of the minority of people who actually enjoyed CoD2. When CoD3 was announced, honestly I wasn't all that excited for it, as it wasn't developed by Infinity Ward. After playing it for awhile, I still thought it wasn't great, but it still exceeded my (admittedly, very low)...
Well, if you still want someone in limbo, then I would suggest Hector - most people will recognize him & it keeps some connection with the original.
EDIT: why not add Tycho Brahe to the gluttony circle? He frequently held insanely huge parties.
