Double post.
I blame March.
Leave March alone alright? Shit.

Ontopic: It's not your fault really but don't you think you're overreacting? She sounds pretty forgiving considering she just lost an Ipod.
I probably am, but I really hate doing anything wrong. She surprisingly has been forgiving...so far. But what about tomorrow?! I live in fear...
God you remind me of myself when I do something I think will piss off my girlfriend.
The key word in that sentence is think. I've had that feeling before and I know how much it sucks, there is really nothing you can do except hope for the best or just buy her another one.
hahaha It's probably because she's my first girlfriend and I'm still afraid of screwing up. I've discovered that relationships are a LOT of trouble.
Welcome to the world.

OT: No, it is not your fault.

I'm gonna say help to get a new one so you'll feel better, because a bunch of Anonymous posts won't help you feel better.

Also, welcome to the Escapist. You should come to the Basemnt, we have cookies and Tic-Tacs

No your not a horrible person, And if she didnt tell you it was in there it was an accident.

And welcome to the escapist, Coffee & Biscuits are over there, toilet is the third door on the right, and DO NOT GO INTO THE BASEMENT[/B][/I].
Isn't that where Max left his bodies?

Anywho, no not your fault. She shouldn't have just left something like that lying around. If she really cared about it, she would have been more careful (sounding like an old person).

I wouldn't say so, but then again, this is a woman we're talking about here. They're working on a whole other level when it comes to blame and responsibility.

Yes.

If it isn't your fault it has to be hers, which can't ever happen.
So it is ALWAYS YOUR FAULT.
Did you not notice that she said it was fine and did not blame him, but then again this is a man we are talking about. They're working on a whole other level when it comes to not reading the entire story and stereotyping people because of a select few bitches.

Sorry guys, I know most of you are fine, I just couldn't resist ^_^.

Really it was just an accident, accidents happen. I won't say it's silly to feel bad, because I would too and would want to help her get a new one, but your certainly not to blame, she said so herself.

You didn't even have to have had it in the pocket at any point in human history, you have a penis, so it's your fault.

how dare you lose something that you had no idea was there in the first place? You should have just known. If you didn't know that she would put her ipod into your sweater pocket and then give the sweater back to you, then you must not love her.

seriously though just help her buy a new one. as her boyfriend, that is your job. spend money on her because she can't remember what she does with her stuff.

AM I really a horrible person and AM I responsible for its disappearance?
NO it is actually her fault for not telling you of it.And seeing as how you did not know of it,that makes it an accident. And no one can be really blamed for accidents.

This is an opportunity!
Get one online, engrave it with her name, put it in pretty box, wrap in blue (because it's the new pink) tie, deliver, observe much happiness.

Then beg her for some food because you spend your lunchmoney on a stupid nano.

Since you were not aware of it until it was already gone, then I would consider you completely NOT, repeat NOT, responsible for it.

Some advice for finding it: Don't freak out. Think about where you were wearing the sweater, and calmly retraced you steps. I myself just spent two weeks looking for my video camera, and only after I stopped looking did I find it in the first box I opened.
I've got the feeling that some young hooligan came around and done took it. This one is probably gone for good...
Thanks for the advice, though.
If the iPod was stolen at school it's probably not going too be hard to find out who took it. Once you find who it was it won't be too hard to get it back.

This, but if she didn't tell you it was there, and didn't have the common sense to take it out of the sweater before she gave it back to you, I'd be tempted to say it was her fault. But you may get castrated for even hinting this, depending on how pissed she is over the whole thing. Peace can be easily restored by offereing to replace the iPod though...
