Back on Vegas 2 I was behind cover on kill house and an enemy rushed be so I pulled the trigger hoping it to scare him more than anything, I hit him through the head, got the guy behind him, and team killed a friend on a repel rope all the way across. My friend was angry but I was so, so happy.

I just don't like games that advertise realism but are even more unrealistic than the games that don't try and push it. For example: MW2. Hold for gravity working, there is not a single "realness" to it... Hell, even Halo isn't that unrealistic.

Some good ones off the top of my head would be: Battlefield 2142 F.E.A.R. combat(free), F.E.A.R. 2 Cellfactor revolution(free) And Farcry 2 (while modern, still a great game) I think if you were a quake or unreal fan then the F.E.A.R. games should really tickle your fancy.
