The protagonist of the last game you played wants too have sex with you.

April Ryan? Why, yes! Who am I to deny a fair lady's request?

So apparently Edge magazine gave The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings 06/10

Too many gamers are obsessed with looking for validation in reviews. That point was made in the latest episode of Gamers With Jobs Conference Call, and I agree. Even if a game is technically perfect, that doesn't mean that it objectively deserves a perfect score. A game review should represent...

    Poll: Immortality, with a price.

Longevity? Not aging?? Immunity from disease, including cancer??? Hells yes! Hell, I wouldn't even require the longevity, guaranteed a decently long life in good health. (I don't have any health problems now, but it's a spectre that keeps worrying me) It might very well even be superior to...

    Your Most Regretted Game Purchase

    I know; I was a FOOL!

Poll: Who WEARS wrist watches anymore?

I do, and even feel a bit naked without it. Mechanical, self-winding, analog (obviously). It's not the most accurate, but I like the feeling of having time on my hand. ;)

    Your Most Regretted Game Purchase

Merchants of Brooklyn. I've made other purchases I've regretted, but that's the only game that made me wish it was possible to excise games from my Steam account, so I could rid of the embarrassing reminder that I spent money on that awful, awful game. Ugh.

EA Games Boss Swears to God He Didn't Kill Mirror's Edge

What was wrong with Mirror's Edge? Honestly, not a lot. It had unique and vibrant style, the controls were smooth and precise (on PC) and it had an amazing sense of speed. The story was fine, though there's definitely room for improvement there. Yea. Most of the sequences that forced you to...

Poll: Let's clear this up. Do you like Half-Life 2?

No. With fond memories of the orginal game I bought Half-Life 2 when it was released (the first of many, many games I've bought through Steam), but it ended up disappointing me. The setting was interesting, but the gameplay (with the exception of the physics puzzles, which was an innovative...

Games you dont want to play.

Thanks! Oh, I do agree that you should! The story of Dragon Age is quite good - even if it's bogged down by too many tedious dungeon crawls - and has a spectacular finale. Also, you can import the savefile into DA2 to influence the state of the world! At least we have that to agree about. ;)

Games you dont want to play.

I'm with you on Dead Space. It looks nice and atmospheric, but feels boring. Oblivion I have, and I kind of want to play it, but it's far down the list it's not even funny. As for Dragon Age: Origins (which I played through just for the story, on the easiest difficulty), keep in mind that...

Mass Effect is not an RPG

What he said. XP and inventory alone does not a roleplaying game make. The most interesting part of Mass Effect 1 was the well presented story and the options to shape it (even if only subtly) through dialogue. The inventory management was just tedious, and the levelling mechanics... well, I...
