Looks like too far a leap for "revolutionizing" gaming, but I guess it's just me; the lack of having some controller to hold made me feel less in control when I tried out the EyeToy, and I doubt this will change.
More like Ocarina of Time is A Link to the Past.
It doesn't help that most of the challenges in Ocarina of Time didn't feel like it was only possible on 3D, either.
You picked some bad examples for your complaint on sequels. A sequel to a game 4 years ago would cause more reactions of "oh yeah, I remember playing that game" than displeasure.
