Streets of Rage series, specifically 2. I'm also a fan of Final Fantasy IX and Sonic.

Indigo Prophecy is a damn fine adventure game. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is decent, but I was hoping for more to happen in it. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is alright, but nothing special. And I've heard good things about Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

Wait! I forgot! Streets of Rage II - best soundtrack ever!

I've always loved the Final Fantasy soundtracks, especially FFVII and FFIX. Other than that, Sonic the Hedgehog 1 - 3, Bully, and Ocarina of Time (of course).

I heard about it through a gaming magazine, probably EGM. I got for this past Christmas and it is simply excellent. The story is loads of fun, as are the characters and the, thankfully, so is the gameplay. I realize it doesn't really do anything new but it's just oh so much fun. Did I mention it...

In every shooter I've played I've relied strongly on the shotgun. From Max Payne to Perfect Dark, it's been my best friend. One day we'll be dual-wielding them, and it will truly be a magnificent thing.

I was just holding off until somebody got it for me for Christmas. But yeah, the review kind of reminded me that it was out there.

I have to say, I see way too much Zelda and Mario bashing around here. I say as long as they are fun and engaging (which to me they are, I guess they aren't to others), let them stay. That being said, Need For Speed needs to take a break, I hope Halo will stop, Sonic needs to take a long, hard...

Just wanted to say that I'm glad someone else is sick of everyone calling scandals "-gates". And as for Hsu, I'll trust him and EGM for now, since it's looking like it is getting harder to trust anyone these days and I need somebody to have faith in.
