I'd have to say it was thanks to the PS2. Sure, i had played games before, but i wasn't so much as a gamer as just someone who had a nintendo in their house. I saved up to buy the PS2, and the catalog of rpgs games sucked me in.

I like bland, generic FPS games like Halo, and I am absolutly horrible at them. Also, I hate Portal because it lags my system to the point of no retun rendering me unable to play it.
