You can't stream games from Gamefly like you can Netflix and Onlive. I don't even use the DVD features of Netflix.

See if Rockbox is available for your iPod, and install that. It has a lot more features than the original firmware and if your problem's a software one, Rockbox should fix it. You can always go back to your original firmware if it doesn't work or you don't like it.
