I've heard that Intel processors have more raw power while AMD ones are faster. Or something to that degree. I personally go for Intel Processors with Nvidia graphics cards, but up to you realy.

I don't think I have ever completed a game in one sitting. I do like to actually take breaks while I play to have a sandwich or a drink. And yes, I have played both Portals and put them down for the night.

GTA4 - All of my friends say that Saints Row 2 was a better and more fun game, but I don't care, I like feeling like a serious person all the while running over random civilians and flying off swingsets.
