Doesn't most of the people in the first 300 film die? So how ware they gonna make a sequel and what in the world will it be about?!??

I'm curious.... I though Frank Miller committed career suicide after some of the silliness of All-Star "I'm the Goddamn" Batman. It could be interesting, to see Miller do a comic sequel to 300 - showing the Greeks driving the Persians from Greece and whatnot - so I'll withhold judgment for now. But I've grown somewhat cynical of Miller, given that in later years he's forgotten about some of his other works (i.e. 300) and only seems to know how to write one real story - gritty film noir.

You doubt me? Watch "The Spirit" and tell me otherwise. Try it, I dare you all. ;P

Atleast a 300 sequel would be better than the flood of DC and Marvel movies we have had in the last decade. A 3 hour long movie that loops the Pit of Death scene over and over again would be 10 times better than Batman 46: The Dark Knight. Seriously, let comic book superheroes fade into unexistence already.
Those are some pretty strong words. Yeah, there's a lot of crud (Fantastic Four, Spirit, Punisher) but the other movies (Iron Man, Incredible Hulk) are getting better and better.

Why is The Dark Knight so terrible?

3001: The Rise of Mecha-Leonidas

Win. Steampunk Mecha-Leonidas is built by the Greeks to fight the newborn threat of Hyperspace Persian invasion from the future.

Still, it's a stupid idea - The 300 died, in history and in the film. What the Hell will Miller base it on?

Get your arse back to working on Sin City 2.

I suppose I see how technically a sequel could be made. After Thermopylae the Spartans were in a serious decline, but they were still active. You do the remains of Xerxes' invasion or skip right to either of the Peloponnesian wars
But that doesn't really mean that they should make a sequel...
