I think the camera angle leads this person to believe they were insubstantial hits. Oh, and kudos to the person who sited Popular Mechanics...beat me to the punch =p.
www.debunking911.com has a lot of good information as well and addresses point by point most of the arguments theorists make.
I like my kudos thank you. What is a kudo anyways?

Kudos is the singular. It's Greek (and essentially means "praise").
There's no such word in greek.
Didn't now it either but it is.

so? i don't understand what the problem is? he isn't using them interchangingly(real word lol?) hes just showing them both side by side.
But he said that the "necessary temperature" was "ten times greater" than the temperature of the burning jet fuel. The only way that could be true is if he was comparing directly the 210 degrees Celsius of the ignition point of jet fuel with the 2,000+ degrees Fahrenheit melting point of steel. In actuality, the difference was half that if you compare Celsius to Celsius, or Fahrenheit to Fahrenheit. It would be like saying someone who weighed 140 lbs is twice as heavy as someone weighing 70 kilograms.
Look back at my argument, I was comparing the temperature at which steel burns to what jet fuel burns at. I exaggerated to make a point, since anyone who really cares would be American. Thank you.
All right. Sorry for taking you literally. By the way, fixed up your spelling and grammar. Also, what does the second half of the second sentence have to do with anything you said?

The thing about conspiracies is that they are just lots of fun. Really stupid, but fun. Is there anything more exciting then a good conspiracy?

Dan Brown says no...

1,148 °C (2,098 °F)=Normal Steel Melts at
210 °C (410 °F)=Highest point Jet fuel Burns at

This lasted for 56 Minitues untill the Giant support collums broke down. Something about Jet fuel burning at ten times its highest tempture to burn Molten Steel Doesn't seem right, Or that an Aluminium plane Crashing into the WTC's Towers at 913 km/h Somehow Breaking the foundation allowing Jet fuel to seek into the collums to break it down causeing a pancake effect that the building was designed to stop. I'm not crazy, I don't believe anyone did anything. But Questions arive and I think we need to find out a little more about the 9/11 attacks
Fail maths is fail. You can't interchangeably use Celsius and F.
And why not?
Because they're different units of measurment, perhaps?
So, What exactly are you saying? That I can't convert two units of measurement so that everyone can understand me? Doing it correctly isn't okay?

Edit:Failed Logic is Fail
You had 210 Celsius for jet fuel, and 2098 F for melting steel, and were saying that the melting point was ten times as much. Look at the bolded word.

Also, who invented the English language? The English. What do the English say? Maths

TL;DR Fail fail is fail.

yes ten times is exagerated but seeing as the difference is still 5 times its a little suspicoious.

As long as the internet exists, so shall conspiracy theories of all kinds.

I am not sure about the whole inside job thing, as parts of it seem to make sense, as do parts of the official explanation. The thing that has me uncertain is that there are parts of the official explanation which don't seem to add up. If the conspiracy theorists could manipulate images and lie, convincing thousands of people, then so could the government. For that reason I can't trust either of the theories, and I guess not many people will truly know what happened that day.

Wether or not 9/11 was an inside job, you have to agree that in terms of money, 9/11 and the events that followed worked in favour of the Bush Administration.

So i was bored and went on youtube watching commentaries for south park, and i listen to the one about the "mystery of the urinal deuce" and down below i see comments from people saying that it was the government that planted bombs in the building and that it wasnt planes that crashed into the buildings. Really? There are still retards out there that dont believe that terrorists were the ones who blew up the two towers? The biggest arguement being "fire cant melt steel". If i remember right i think thats how they made swords back in the dark ages. I dunno, im a bit tired at the moment so i cant remember the melting point of steel, but ya, i dont believe any of these conspiracies about 9/11, what about you ppls?
Have you ever seen the documentry "Loose Change ?" look it up on youtube because it perfectly explains how 9/11 was a inside job with great detail.

Oh and there are some obvious "WTF"'s in 9/11 because of the melting point of the structures metals and the fuel that was said to catch fire did not match up since kerosene ( I think thats the fuels name) burns with a lower tempreture then the metals boiling points.

as well as the obvious one. Buildings only collpase on them selves with controlled demoltion ! seriously if you see that way they fall considering they were hit by a damn plane it makes no sense to why the towers ended up falling in on them selves rather then breaking apart or toppling over.

but true fact is that there is more to 9/11 then what people say and the american goverment perfectly has the potential to do this since they did something similar back in the 50's (or 60's sorry don't know the exact date) ,, where a plan was made to frame cuba for attacking a airline with american citizans in it when really it was a dummy plane that would be flying over cuba and be there were bombs inside and they would be denonated remotely from another area, ofcourse this plan was never executed but it proves what there capable of now and watch that documentry if you want realistic answers.

(And another thing thats for sure they really pissed of the muslims for making them sound like terrorist)
Kill yourself.
my sentiments.

Look, Just to clear some stuff up, I'm not a Conspiracy Theorist, I just think we need to investigate 9/11. Find out and show That Conspiracy theorists are wrong,
Been done.

Or that whoever was behind the attack be put to justice. Whoever that might be.
They kind of died in the crashes.

I did. It was the most idiotic thing I've ever watched.

<url=http://www.cracked.com/article_15740_was-911-inside-job.html>And here's why.
i completly agree, it was rediculous. No logic is used and if someone comes back with an opposing argument, he shouts its wrong. My boyfriend believes him but i just turned round and laughed saying he should be a comedian not a conspiritor. Seriously dylan avery (not sure if thats his name) should do a little homework before starting a rediculous conspiracy. Also no government in the world could organise such a conspircacy. Firstly it would involve a lot of communication (they fail at that one then) and theres always one person who will leak info. It always happens a civil servant will come out and reveal the truth for example the expenses claims in Britian atm were due too a civil servant. Also someone has to notice all the wealth thats sloshing about. I'll stop having a rant now but seriously gah.

a) 9/11 I sincerely believe, was a hoax (i.e. government bull).
b) I used to believe STRONGLY that it was Al Qaeida, but the proof is just overwhelming.
c) George W. Bush has SAID that explosives were used.
d) Resist NWO.

I don't trust 9/11 conspiracy's because these were the ten points some guy on another forum gave me that he said proved definitively that 9/11 was an inside job. I particularly like the bit about the nukes.

1. Planes are made of light materials like aluminum and fiberglass. Think of them as long beer cans. Even birds can give planes problems.

2. There were many steel core columns supporting both of the Twin Towers. No plane could enter such a structure without being completely destroyed.

3. Two planes were depicted as being inside and intact the Twin Towers, a pair of buildings made with 200,000 tons of steel each.

4. Eyewitnesses: Very few people in New York's business district actually had a decent view of the South Tower of the WTC. Only a few thousand people at most would have been able to see the South Tower explode. The author of this website has interviewed people who do not believe that they saw a plane strike the South Tower.

Meanwhile, it was a simple matter for the TV networks to keep the eyewitnesses who didn't see a plane off the air.

5. Both Boeing 767s (i.e., Flights 11 and 175, which supposedly struck the North and South Towers respectively) have 165 foot wingspans. Meanwhile, both the North and South Towers were 210 feet wide. We're supposed to believe that both planes were entirely inside the tower they hit, with no pieces showing, with only 45 feet of room to spare!

6. United Airlines Flight 175 was shown entering the South Tower like a ghost. When the tip of the plane's fuselage hits the steel exterior of the South Tower the fuselage should be breaking up. That would cause the wings to break off.

7. Newton's Third Law of Motion states that "To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.". Let's apply Newton's Third Law to Flight 175. In the 9/11/01 story, Flight 175 strikes the the South Tower at 450 m.p.h.

Now imagine that the South Tower moved at 450 m.p.h. and struck a stationary Flight 175. We would not expect that Flight 175 would be undamaged. We would not expect that it would simply disappear into the South Tower.

8. There was no audio of 'Flight 175' striking the South Tower. This is true even though there were about a dozen videos of the event said to be obtained from lucky amateurs.

9. There are innumerable contradictions with the news reports of planes striking the WTC. (The author's writing is here.) Just a cursory examination of the 911 news reports can reveal dramatic inconsistencies.

10. There has been massive censorship of the 911 Hoax. Dozens of media sources have exercized a zero tolerance policy for any suggestion that no planes struck the WTC before it was vaporized from exotic weaponry and nuclear weapons.

Who cares, it happened 8 years ago.
I think people made these conspiraces because of how it changed peoples view. After 9/11, people were either scared of muslims or pissed at muslims. That made my life unhappy for a while.
I think most people are over it, but some are still scared. I guess you cant really blame them

Good conspiracy theory: Terrorists planned an attack on the World Trade Center and the government had knowledge of this attack yet did nothing because they needed a reason to invade the middle east and this would create a good reason.

Bad conspiracy theory: The planes that hit the towers were actually originally full of CIA agents (including the children) and those planes landed and unloaded all the passengers who now live secret double lives in Brazil while leaving their grieving families behind without so much as a phone call. The empty planes were then flown by remote control into the towers to create a distraction while rigged charges inside the buildings were set off to bring them down. Herp derp the melting point of steal derp derp derp. A missile was then flown into the Pentagon. I can explain this one by showing pictures where there are no plane scraps and claiming that, because these pictures have no plane scraps, there were no plane scraps at all so it MUST be a missile. All of this was pulled off with extreme accuracy and secrecy and, even though hundreds if not thousands of people would of been needed to pull this off, no one involved has said anything about it. There is no Deep Throat on this one, even though this ended in thousands of deaths and anyone who would come forward with all this information would become a millionaire from all the book deals they would get.

Even I think it's bullshit and I believe in aliens and bigfoot.
