The Final Fantasy games are my weakness for this. I have FFX, X-2, XII and Revenant Wings, and Tactics Advance. Out of those, the only one I've beaten the final boss on is Tactics Advance. Revenant Wings, I made it to the final boss but keep failing, and can't finish all the sidequests as well (which I'm trying to do). TA, I beat but couldn't access the rest of the sidequests (so I'm playing through it again to do so). X and X-2, I've made it near the final bosses but was beaten by Braska's Final Aeon and the Magus Sisters, respectively. Never bothered getting every sidequest, though I will do when I next play X-2. As for XII, whenever I play it I make it partway through then hav to leave it for several months because I go off to university for another semester (the PS2 isn't mine, it's my family's, so when I go away the console stays at home - fortunately I have my own Xbox 360 for gaming away...). Furthest I've made in FF XII is Giruvegan, though I was pretty weak and hadn't bothered levelling up my guys much...

Anyway, right now I'm playing through X again, currently on Mount Gagazet, and after that I'll try and get 100% for the first time ever on X-2. I can always leave XII until later, hopefully I'll have XIII by then so I can play that at university...

EDIT: Oh, not to mention the current cam[paign I'm playing on Rome: Total War. Must be about 60 hours in or something, and I'm still only halfway . 31 provinces captured so far, and ready to attack Rome, though I won't until I have a stronger force and have finished taking care of Pontus and Egypt... What a long game it is...

First thing that comes to mind: POP: The Two Thrones. I got to what I think is that last boss but I didn't complete it on the 1st go and then became too lazy to try again, I just never felt the urge to try again, even though I fairly enjoyed the game.

Jak and Daxter but that is due to a bug where the last few eggs don't actually exist or something. At least that is what I saw when I looked where to get them. I got all 101 power cells even though there is only supposed to be 100.

Yes, serveral times actually. In Red, Emerald and Diamond.

Except for those Pokemon only given away by events because none of those come down here

Maybe I shouldn't tell you this, but I've never even come close to halfway finishing the pokedex. I just pick out 6 pokemon to train and then kick the elite four's ass.

I haven't completed Arkham Asylum. There's just one thing I can't find. In Shadow Complex I have the same problem.

Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon.

Finished the game I just can't be arsed trying to get 117% completion. Yes 117%. This is one of those games with a bonus world that adds on to the percentage rather than being part of the intial 100%.

Most of the Final Fantasy's, largely due to the character development bottoming out toward the end and my subsequently getting bored as such.

'Only one I've been able to finish was XIII, because the plot wasn't so much character driven as the characters were the plot. Right until the end I got to see the characters develop and interact, instead of stuff happening and their just happening to be the ones involved.

its a bit obscure but whiplash for the ps2 it wasent a great game but i enjoyed it at the time i just got lost in a maze of corridors and i never finished it thats the one that always sticks in my mind.

I came close. I got 144 out of 150, but ran out of people who would trade with me.

Also, the only game I haven't beaten is "I Wanna Be The Guy". Fucking thing was impossible.

I have a shit load of games i never finished, some because i didnt feel like playing anymore (even if i enjoyed them), but most because i play many promotional copies of games (thats with the full game but without extra content) so that i know if its worth ordering for my store.

and therefore i dont finish most of them.

Eternal Sonata. It was the first game I got along with my PS3 (Which is pretty much the sole reason to ever try to finish that game and if you decide to do so, SKIP EVERY MOVIE unless you're the type of person who enjoys having the life sucked out of you brain).
Anyway I finished everything up to the final boss, and then it kept one-shotting me. Turns out I lacked about 20 levels to properly beat him, couldn't be bothered and never looked back.

If I ever complete a pokedex, I'll probably never want to play a Pokemon game ever again. I capture most I see but that's just for variation. There are some that I would never allow in my party. Like Carnavine.

OT: I never got past the last boss on PoP: Rival Swords on the Wii, solely due to the fact the game always crashed when I fought him...

I reached 99% on FFX-2, but it turns out to get that final 1% I need to go back to Chapter 1 and do the mission where you have to escort a supply carriage down the Moonflow, only this time NO TREASURE CAN BE STOLEN. Screw playing the game all over again for like..the 4th time JUST to do that.
