For the huge amount of positive PR when everyone covers the story, it's genius, what is 3 days early? It's nothing, for a game that's taken years to make, 3 days is nothing.

My prediction is that it will be the release of the Demo. If it is in fact an early release, it will be an early release for those people who bought the Potato Sack Pack. Thats actually a pretty good way to generate sales...Id only need to ubuy Bit Trip, The Ball, and Toki Tori...17.50 for early Portal? Well, I won't do that, but I can definitely understand the desire to.

To release the game 3 days early could work wonders for advertising. If even 2% of the people who have already payed for it get to play it early, word of mouth about how good it is gets out and they tell their friends and they post it online and the readers tell their friends.... now 10% more people buy it.

I disagree with you, and I know I can't be the only one. But the thing is, you are indefinatly wrong on this particular case, because if you get the PS3 version, you get portal 2 for Steam free anyhow... I know you'll argue with me, so lay it on me.

I am 99% sure that game stores will not allow returns on Portal 2 for PS3, plus it's a scummy thing to do.

I've actually seen that thread. And somehow resisted spoiling myself... much. Though if that yellow core is anything to go by, I was right about there being more than Wheatley.
