Don't wanna sound rude, but why does it matter? So you get a cutscene of say, 30 seconds, where they hug, stroke, moan, rub against one another, kiss and then the screen fades to black. It's a tiny portion of a large game that is about interstellar conflict. Big chance it won't have any consequences for the story.

I think people just fell in love with her and were disappointed that you couldn't be anything more then friends with her.

Speaking from a writing perspective, I think that Tali's condition would make her the most interesting romance option, if we consider romance as 'Someone who you genuinely care for, who brightens your life by simply existing, and who you want to be happy no matter what', rather than 'Someone you just really want to bone all night long because s/he is sexy'. A more relationship between Shepard and Tali culminating in heartfelt words and maybe a gentle hug instead of a bedtime session sounds much more endearing, if not for writing potential over anything else. That and it's still freakin' pixels we're talking about I still doubt the video game media is 'ready' for that kind of relationship just yet, despite Bioware's, well, attempts thus far.

This man speaks the truth. The problem is that the people posting on the Bioware forum are undoubtly looking for something far less mature than this.

I don't see why people don't understand this; if you slept with Tali she would die. It's also worth pointing out that she probably lloks nothing like a human under that suit, her legs are jointed backwards for a start and you have no reason to think she'd want to get with Commander Shepard anyway. There's just so many reasons why not, and yet people keep on demanding it.

She looks like, well, a dead person. And she reminds me of a child in the way she speaks. So thats wrong on two levels!

I looked for a couple mass effect reviews and also a couple mass effects videos in youtube before buying the game a week ago. One of them is Tali's head. Nothing with nose. Eww.

Technically Liara isn't female either, as her species is monogendered and reproduce with any living organism by thought. She says this at least once or twice before, as well as showing it while, she rides Shepard's purple python... however that works. Personally, I don't want to know...

She had a nice body, good personality, and was my second least hated character (next to Garrus)

Kinda funny, I read the book Ascension and in the book it desribes a Quarian that has been stripped f clothing.
