I thought Jumper was fairly good (not fantastic, but good nonetheless). Reviewers seem to despise it, though.
I agree. It wasn't a work of art, but it gave me further reason not to listen to the majority.
Ah, it's good to know that my family isn't alone in liking it.

I loved The Spirit. I honestly didn't understand why I was the only one laughing maniacally at Sam Jackson's mad scientist samurai Nazi pimp antics.

NO EGG... ON MY FACE!
Agreed. The Spirit is definitely one of my favorites. The part where the kitten melted into nothing but two big googly eyes was maybe a little over the top though.

I actually enjoyed all three Resident Evil films. They really aren't bad, as long as one remembers what they are.

Another one? Speechless. You know, the slightly dire Geena Davis comedy from the early nineties. Don't ask me why. :)

Same.

I also really liked The Punisher with Thomas Jane and John Travolta. Apparently, very few other people feel the same.

The Pink Panther (remake)
This and Van Helsing, that old (being a relative term) movie where Hugh Jackman plays a younger Abraham Van Helsing and kills Dracula.

I watched that movie, too. It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. I think a lot of the hate it got was because of how badly it represented the comics. It's in the same vein of how people hate the Wolverine movie for what it did to Deadpool.

I adore any really good serious film, like Shawshank, Blood Diamond, The Wrestler, and Godfather, but everyone I know doesn't want to see a film with a greal story to tell and amazing acting. All they want to see is a popcorn flick. So, whenever I try to bring up something like Watchmen up in conversation, one of two things happen. Either A) the call me a ****** for seeing 2 and a half hours of blue penis, or B) the subject gets changed to 300.

I thought Charlie Bartlett was a great movie, but those damn critics thought otherwise.
Seconded. Also, as hard as it is for me to admit this... I didn't mind Night at the Museum 2. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a great movie, but it had it's moments.
I laughed my ass of every time Hank Azaria was on the screen.

The Fifth Element is a great movie that critics didn't seem to like, not that it matters since most of them are jerks. Batman Forever is great too, only second to The Dark Knight out of all the Batman films

Starship Troopers. Why? because it doesn't take itself too seriously, and everyone knows it. People expecting a die hard translation of the book, when if they put aside the expectations, its a very entertaining popcorn flick.
The first movie was great. Loved the effects and everything. The other two were rubbish however. I mean, how do you get worse special effects? Really?

And movies I loved that everyone hated were Spiderman 3 and Wall-E. Oh god how I love Wall-E. And I haven't even dared myself of what they think of Happy Feet...

Repo! The Genetic Opera - rock/punk/industrial/pop(a little)/jaz opera/horror/triller.
Nobody I know has watch it so far. It is too bloody for the soft lyrical types and has music wich turn off the blood thursty types. Plus people just don't expect to like it. They know it is diffenrent and as we know being different is dead sentace in the movie buisness.
(few people did liked, me included, and I think that if you watch it without any expectations you will be sucked in around the 3 song)
I love Repo!

Click. I found it pretty funny, though most professional reviewers don't.
Same here.
Reign of Fire takes the cake with me. Something about a bald, crazy Matthew Mccanoughey seemed outrageously funny to me, plus Christian Bale uses a crossbow with exploding bolts.

Children of Men, I think. Nobody I've met likes it, yet I'm in love with the movie. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a serious flick which hasn't been corrupted by Hollywood or general idiocy.
I also loved that movie, yet I somehow always stop myself when I go to watch it again; I don't know why. Maybe it's because it was so epic the first time around, I don't want to tarnish the memory by analyzing it, years later.

Galaxy Quest, I thought it was great but most people I know hate it.

SLC Punk, one of my favorite movies of all time, just doesn't get the appreciation it deserves.
I love Galaxy Quest as well. Another would have to be Constantine, it was just a very entertaining movie to me.

I think you'd enjoy it the second time around. I certainly did; I picked up on lots of things that I had missed, which I'd list for examples but don't want to go through the hassle of including spoiler tags.
