I've had my high school jeans long enough for them to come back into fashion. Authentic faded!

Well, i thought it was impossible...but there is a song (a new one) that is worse than Miss Rebecca Black (who sings the hideous Friday)

I mean...really?!?! is this the way music is going now? if so i aint getting into it, and i'm a sucker for pop stuff (hell i don't mind Justin Beiber for go sake).

Your thoughts guys? even though i can already imagine what you guys are going to think/say xD
Im 99% positive that these videos are being brought to us by a rich anon who is pulling off the ultimate troll. its the only explanation. Also, spoiled kids with rich parents can get anything if they whine long enough, even there own music video.

Actually Rebecca Black sings like that, it's not as Auto-Tuned as people think...

Example.

She actually is an awful singer, even if it is Auto-Tuned it doesn't really help.
Actually, if she'd relax, drop her jaw and sing louder, she'd be pretty good. No, really.

Pretty much any voice that sounds like a slightly strangled Texan can be fixed by opening the mouth wider.

I see you like giving stuff that you don't like free publicity.

Did you know that Rebecca Black's "Friday" and Jenna Rose's "My Jeans" are both by the same company?

Did you also know that the only reason why Rebecca Black got famous is because someone posted her video on his "worst music ever" blog? She's now earning about $20,000 a week, and it's ONLY because people who didn't like her stuff kept posting it and getting her attention.

There's a lesson there, somewhere.

I sort of liked the innocence of it, the same way I liked "Friday." I'm not a hateful person by nature when it comes to music because I listen to and enjoy what could be considered crap on a daily basis. Any other music nerds immediately think of Jonathan Richman's "My Jeans"? I adore that song. There aren't any youtube videos of it because it's pseudo-out of print, old, and very few people (even fans) know it exists.

"Oh my jeans they are a frayin' real bad" Quite possibly my official favoritest album of all time.

I just don't quite understand why no one can seem to sing anymore. I can sing, even if it's taken me a few years to be able to sing reliably in tune.

Seriously do these girls even have any sort of training before they go into the studio? Do they even practice at home in front of the mirror with a hairbrush?

I weep for what was once a music industry, and is now just another computer industry.

I can't imagine writing a whole song about an article of clothing. Does this mean I'm not really a female? I mean, I have the plumbing, but...

Blizzard linked to her video in one of their April Fool's jokes. I bet you that earned her about half of her initial views. That's I and most of my friends first saw it.

So much autotone... that sounded awful, you can tell she sounds like a nasally preteen without the autotune...

They did, but that's not what kicked it off.

Good for you! I wish people didn't want it all NOW NOW NOW.

I've been doing choirs for about ten years now (yes, since I was eight), and it's totally been worth it.

You know that cheesy 80's band that had a handle full of moderate hits... like that really narrows it down... but I cannot stand them...
