Exactly. Furthermore, the PC (I am not a PC exclusive gamer for all you who may try to turn this back on me) already has these things among many things the PS3 will undoubtedly never have, therefore, why buy a PS3 just for an accessory with which to use it; One you already have?viralshag said:I game equally on my PS3, 360 and PC but I don't see why this would entice a PC gamer to buy a PS3 as really it is offering something they/I already have.
I guess if there are games that they are dying to play on the PS3 it's good but other than that I don't see much use for me personally.

That's not it at all, saying that you make us sound like elitist pricks (Which some of us are, but no worse than Console fanboys)Korten12 said:nope, because I own a ps3. XD and play on both PC.I love Mods but I still play my ps3 more.
reason why many (not all) say No is because they love mods and they believe console games are inferior because you cant mod them. Also they believe they are somehow too good for them because they are PC gamers.
thats why I said not all, not all PC gamers are elistist pricks and just like people who own consoles arent all fanboys. and ofcourse its down to personal pefrence.johnman said:That's not it at all, saying that you make us sound like elitist pricks (Which some of us are, but no worse than Console fanboys)Korten12 said:nope, because I own a ps3. Mod's are an added bonus, there are many more games for Pc and 100% backwards compatibility, plus emulators. Some people prefer Mouse and keyboard setup, since its better for their preferred games and having one dedicated unit that does everything is cheaper than having a separate console/ Pc setup.
The PC just has so many advantages over console its crazy, but at the end of the day its all down to personal choice.
Well besides the fact that several games were mods or are based of mods eg L4D, TF2, Counter Strike I could go for longer. Also mods add so much more than change things they add whole maps levels and equipment. Just look at the Archaeologists Guild mod in Oblivion it adds a whole new quest line to game although it is not voice it basically gives you another guild to climb to the top of. Also the Glass armor can be completely reskined to a variety of colours including a darker green, blood red and a shade of blue if you want it changed that badly.omega 616 said:So the answer is no.
Man, you PC guys love your mods, don't you?

most ps3 exclusives are not on pc, alot of xbox exclusives are.Dys said:Don't be silly, a PS3, even not, is hugely expensive. The few exclusives that aren't available on a PC hardly justify the huge price range, or the added price of games. Not to mention the cost of an adequate screen to game on.
PC gaming, over the life of the PC (usually about 2 console generations if it's well built) is substantially cheaper. Unless I come into money sometime soon, control schemes aren't going to impact my decision.
its okay everyone makes a mistake sometime.johnman said:Ah sorry, I mis read your post, my house is full of distractions at the momentKorten12 said:thats why I said not all, not all PC gamers are elistist pricks and just like people who own consoles arent all fanboys. and ofcourse its down to personal pefrence.johnman said:That's not it at all, saying that you make us sound like elitist pricks (Which some of us are, but no worse than Console fanboys)Korten12 said:nope, because I own a ps3. Unless there is a monitor cable that goes to scart, there is no way of connecting my PC to my tv.Sebenko said:Except that only someone compensating for something buys "the best of the best". Sure, you could have two GTX295s/480s in SLI, 64GB of RAM, Triple monitor, dual six-core processors and a petabyte of HD space, but it's not needed.omega 616 said:If you want the best of the best on PC and console, the PC is going to be about 4 times as expensive as a console.Sebenko said:snip
If you want the cheapest of each the PC might actually end up more expensive, everybody has a tv that you can hook up a console to but I can't hook up a pc to my tv.
My low to mid end custom pc (not including the keyboard, mouse, speakers or monitor) cost slightly more than PS3, with controller and games, just saying.
It's like a gold plated PS3.
Even my current setup is a tiny bit excessive for just getting by. As an example, it can run Metro 2033 on High/Very high settings, while the 360 version of the game runs at settings which are between low and medium.
And everyone has a PC. The cost of upgrading a normal desktop to that of a mid-high end gaming PC is less than that of a PS3- especially now that many desktop office machines have better than dual core processors.
And I believe you can connect a PC to a TV. And Google agrees. First result for "TV as PC monitor": http://www.howtodothings.com/electronics/a3543-how-to-use-your-tv-as-a-computer-monitor.html
Well they aren't really an xbox exclusive if they are on PC as well....Korten12 said:most ps3 exclusives are not on pc, alot of xbox exclusives are.Dys said:Don't be silly, a PS3, even not, is hugely expensive.
