Bravo! A great comic. But I have to ask:
A) What happened to the town?
B) What happened to the guy who was called a magician?
C) What happened to the king?
D) This is going to be the definite story line, right, because this is turning tinto a Metal Gear Solid-esque head scratcher.
A) It's still there, but they went past it some time between the 4th and 5th comics.

B) I don't know, the google ads on the site that the "magician" was standing in for disappeared a short time after I posted that comic (Which I chalk up to coincidence rather than what I'm doing actually having any effect on the escapist as a whole)

C)He's also still around, just not in sight.

D) It has been a bit hard to follow, I'm not so good at coherent things, so a solid storyline is going to take a bit of work on my part. In any case, now that I've got this thing out of the way I can slow down a bit, I don't plan to have major plot developments every comic anymore.

I guessed that was Ares Tyr by faaaar.

I've also noticed the symbol of 4chan on the moon of the demon world.
How much internets do I win?
Well he did sort of say "I am Ares Tyr." It's not that hard.

However many internets you really think 4chan is worth.

Very good Sah. I look forward to more.

I want to call that giant black thing a duck... I'm not sure why.
It's what would happen if a duck and an octopus coupled.
A Ducktopus.
A Doctorpus?
Huh.. I think I may have accidentally given Decoy Doctorpus a cameo.

I almost forgot about AINC(mind if I call it that?) for a little while, but it was worth the wait.

my feedback/comments:
-Probably the best comic yet
-As for the 50+ days it took; I hope the next won't take so long, but the comics lenth made up for it a bit(58 panels!).
-I would suggest that you make more frequent, but smaller updates to help break up the time between each comic.
-I'm amazed at how well you have integrated the cameo's into the story.
-The art isn't perfect, but it sure is better then anything I could draw(not really a complaint)
-I will definitly be looking foward to the next one, keep up the good work.

Aw damn. I just noticed that in the panel where Ares is saying "Who am I? I am your god, Ares Tyr." I didn't put a line thingy to connect the speech bubble with his mouth. I can't be arsed fixing it though.

I'm not a big fan of acronyms, but do what you please.

I have to say, I'm suprised that the reaction was this positive, but I'm apparently far too self critical a lot of the time, so maybe I'm just expecting the worst for no reason.

I thought about doing smaller comics at shorter intervals before, the problem is that there are differing tastes about it, some people want huge ones that they can read in one go, others want smaller ones they don't have to wait so long for.
In any case, I'm thinking about changing the size of the comics. In terms of individual panels, the size is a bit too small for me to fit everything into, particularly speech bubbles. The next comic might have larger frames, but less panels.

Edit: and now that we're on the next page, I might post the comic again here, so it's not so hard to find.

This is the greatist day of my life. This is what it feels like to be quoted by the Iron Ninja? I can die now. Also, the fro? Hilarious.

If he's supposed to be a god, just say he was using an omnipresent voice. Then it wouldn't be coming from his mouth in the first place.

Okay, let's look at our repertoire of characters so far:

  • The Iron Ninja - Ninja with Double Mask and Chef's Tope
Larry - Knight in Bewildered Armour
    Kid - Kid
Old Man Jenkins or Summat - Old Man
    Horse - And again
    Ultrajoe - Demon Lord
    IvoryAgent - Steampunk Spy
    Anarchemitis - Bond Villain Caricature
Ares Tyr - The floating head of Robert Ross
I can't possibly imagine this getting dull thusfar.

The only problem I have with this one is that you occasionally have the speech bubbles in an unexpected arrangement. Specifically when Larry asks Ares to put a shirt on.

Besides that, well done and carry on.

Yeah I noticed that after going through it again. That's the big reason why I'm thinkin' of making the individual panels a bit larger, more space for speech bubbles.

If the duck was a kitty, that comic would have been perfect.
I don't much care for this recent kitten craze. Besides, Ducks are cuter.

Wha... IronyNinja?

Why do I attract all these nicknames?
No one calls you Lion Jumper.

Well, closest I've had was "Jumpy", "Jump the Lion", "Lion the Jump", and "Lion". Though to be fair, those were all self inflicted.

Fine, I'll call you IronNinja from now on.

Mr. Iron Ninja- thank you!

I think I sort of did a little dance in my seat when I saw the comic, which then turned into a jig because I thought I might as well go all-out with it...Plus, the comic merited it.

Your comic is wonderful, and I'm so happy that you've created a new adventure.

Excellent... My comic has advanced into the jig inducing stage of goodness.
It's all going according to plan.

I have no idea why, but the above words are making me picture a Milo and Otis sort of adventure (Dog and Cat adventure movie, for those who don't know what I'm talking about). A jig inducing Milo and Otis sort of adventure. Excellent.
