Clearly, the most interesting thing that could make sense given what we know (and assuming it doesn't get tied up in the 3rd game) is the impending Quarian-Geth war. Maybe we get to follow a young Quarian being sent out on pilgramage and finds technology/information that could be key in defeating the Geth.

Other than that, I'd like to get a look at the workings of the larger military-political organizations. Be it a high-ranking Turian or Alliance member (and preferably one who commands a dreadnought).

Well such IP being dead after just single trilogy would be waste of time put into developing it. Im pretty sure BioWare will make at least one more RPG based on it, because RPGs is what BioWare is all about.

They said they were trying their steps in shooters with ME so we imight see some more action based carnage spin-off.

RTS im not so keen on about with this setting, however if it would be something like Homeworld or Haegemonia it could be interesting.

Yeah alright, another Mass Effect game eh? Well for starters they could have a series of assisting characters that are unique and helpful in their own ways that progressively join your team rather than you having the full legion within the first hour, and maybe instead of tedious gunfights around every corner they could try something different like...I dunno, swordfighting or hand to hand combat. And perhaps there could be lots of fun little minigames scattered throughout to break up the tedium, and maybe they could set it in a world of Chinese mythology and steampunk technology centuries before space travel, make it good and call it Jade Empire 2, WHERE IS IT BIOWARE!?

I think they should create an MMO. :)

Lots of room in their universe for an MMO to develop... it could be wonderful, or terrible.

Personally, I'd be rather interested if they offered the opportunity to play as a Turian. Or something of the sort.

I wouldn like them to make it more open ended.

So you start with your character at the beginning, and have endless opportunities to explore the world how you want to. Will you become a C-Sec officer? Be by the book or a loose cannon? Will you decide to be a smuggler, bringing medicine to the Quarians, where you fall in love with a young Quarian and she becomes your sidekick and together you go on to fight crime as smugglers with hearts of gold or become the next kings of the crime syndicates (Imagine going up against Aria for the final controlling stake)

Just a really open ended game where you can do what you want. Hell, even just join the Alliance military and do some colony defence and Cerberus fighting, or be a colonist and have to establish a full new colony on some uncharted world. Join a crew like the Starship Enterprise, be the Science Officer just exploring instead of having to fight all the time.

Bioware seem to enjoy a challenge, so make me my open world space opera. (I especially like the smuggler with the Quarian love interest/side-kick)

Since the Mass Effect trilogy is centered around Commander Shepard and his vow to stop the Reapers, I think future Mass Effect games will go different routes.

It migth even give players a chance to play as different species as a different custom characters with different story lines. It'd be a step at the right direction to play as another species aside from human.

Play as a Prothean during their extinction,Mass effect : SPECTRE academy ( doing actual SPECTRE stuff.),
It wont be a MMO since bioware already are doing a SciFi MMO .

Best part about this? They don't have any voice acting problems to run into since they can still call you Shepard.
But in some cases, the kid may end up being called "Alenko" or "What the eff are you, you mixed up alien space freak".

OT: I would like something that had the kids in it, or playing as the other characters in their adventures, possibly meeting up again for shits and giggles.

I would say an MMO but it would have to be when SWTOR dies down/fails or else it would really be competing. Two sci-fi story heavy MMOs from the same company? I don't think so.

An FPS or an RTS could both work. Or hell, another RPG set in the Mass Effect universe but not about Shepherd. Why not?

Future genetics man. Your FemShep decide to bang Garrus? Ensure your child looks like a Turian with future technology. No procedure is too outlandish for the savior of the galaxy right?

I do think that the series should be let to rest after Mass Effect 3. Let a good trilogy go in peace, don't pull a George Lucas and drag out the franchise for ever 'til its long dead. Though I do think a Mass Effect MMO could be interesting.

I don't agree with their decision personally. Sometimes it's best to just let things peacefully die.
The universe it too big for that.
An opinion I don't share either.
How is that an opinion? I'm pretty sure that the scientific consensus is that the universe is BIG, lol. There's also a theory about it constantly expanding, so yea...
How expansive is the mario universe? What lies outside the mushroom kingdom? Is there a colony on the moon the Princess isn't aware of? What happened to her father?

Where does Dr. Wily get the parts for the robots and why does nobody else ever know he's doing it? Is there something going on we don't know about? We should explore all these options in more games.

Or maybe we shouldn't. Sometimes when games are pushed far beyond their welcome they original experience is tarnished. No matter how you cut it, another game in the Mass Effect universe is a sequel, Shepard or not, and I don't know if you've noticed, we have entirely too many sequels and not nearly enough original content.

I would want a game set about 100 years after the events of Mass Effect 3, Commander Shepard's story thus far has been exemplary, I don't want that ruined.
