That system makes no sense at all. I saw "fuck" written on my elementary school playground slide in the first grade. I'm 13, and I know my fair share of swears. Using them every few words is ridiculous, then you're just being rude. Who gives a fuck when there are more creative insults that would do a hell of a lot more damage?

XD The same exact thing happened with me, and you're around my age. I thought you were one of my old classmates. You aren't, though. But it was cool anyway.

Do any of you know why swearing is swearing? That words that are idiotically considered offensive in one country differs in another? Why is it a Japanese child can wear a cap with the word FUCK on it but if an American child does it it's horrifying? Why are bad words bad? Why does the scientific word for a female domesticated canine offend people and was for a while even banned from television and radio? Did you even remember that the word SEX was so offensive once that radio stations refused to play George Michael's (at the time) spankin' new hit song "I want your sex"?

Why are these bad words? I'll fucking tell you why; Because some dumbshit ************ said so. No, really, it's just that simple. Some asshole decided that they didn't like a word, calls it offensive, tacks church to it like some kind of power up, and before you know it idiots are afraid to express themselves freely (a constitutional right in my country for fuck's sake!). Parents cram poisonous and toxic bars of soap into their children's mouths for uttering a word that's bad because they don't know why someone said so, those douche bag fucking assholes! I remember a child that was fucking killed by his mother and father for saying fuck, with a bar of soap. Hope mom and dad are real happy about that, because the best death is a senseless one, fuckwits.

That's the bottom line; It's bad because someone said so, who then said it was bad, and the people that were told it's bad went on and so forth to spread their ignorance like a vulgar pile of writhing shit tendrils lurching into our heads, telling us how to think, because we're happy when were obedient sheep and miserable when were free thinking wolves.

This is what I fucking can't stand most about our species, humanity is full of blind followers that feel justified in believing what's fed to them because someone said so. Nobody knows why, but there you go.

I'm getting the fuck out before I really fucking rage. Shit fucking hits all my buttons....

Sorry if my rant was a downer.

What made you think that?

OT: I really hate it when kids swear in front of older teenagers to sound mature. I try to use swears in a reasonable situation, except the word "fuck" is too versatile to not be used(See Episode #12).

To me, it always depends on the company. If you are swearing to just deliberately piss someone off because you know swearing isn't acceptable around them, you aren't being "rebellious", you aren't being "expressive", you are being a douchebag. But, if you know the people around you really don't mind swear all that much, then flip both birds out and say whatever the hell you want.

I don't consider it a problem until they swear way too much. But, then again, I say the same thing about adults as well. Excessive swearing just bothers me, I guess. There are better words to use.

My little brother called me a ************. I hit him. He hit me back. He's old enough to swear.
Now that is a good system!

OT: This reminds me of the time when I was listening to a Queen song on youtube. I started reading some comment, and after a while I saw one that went something like this: "I'm 12 and I love Queen! Fuck this generation of music!"
You know, you see a lot of those. Then I saw some (apparently) old dude go at him because "he was only 12 and already had a foul mouth", and it actually became an argument several pages long.
... I mean really, you're not even allowed to fucking swear on the internet anymore?

It's natural for kids to be curious about swear words, just like it's curious for them to be curious about boobs or dicks or whatever. Kids also have to go through a stage where they swear excessively to try out the new words and test the limits of what is acceptable.

Once people get older they realize that when you use the same term every other word, it dilutes it's meaning and shock factor. It's much more effective to swear when you actually mean it.

The simple solution is to teach kids some tact and how to eloquently express themselves.
Thats the kind of motherfucking responsible parenting I can get behind.
