I've recently gotten into airsofting, and while I haven't joined an actual team I have bought a few things to prep for combat (if I ever see any).

I bought a cheapo Desert Eagle airsoft pistol a while back but I somehow managed to lose the magazine for it. And it never felt like it was enough, so I bought another pistol.

My prized piece: Beretta M92 Sword Cutlass, just like Revy's. I'm considering getting another for the hell of it.

CO2 powered, full-metal, good balance. Far better than the spring-action Deagle. Still haven't had a chance to shoot at anything. I hate living in the city.

I bought a Classic Army M15 a while ago, but I don't get out and use it more than a few times a year. It does shoot well and feels great though so I can't complain.

Sorry about the pic quality, the lighting in my room is shit.

Full metal components and fires about 500fps. I normally have a scope, but I took it took a bb to the lens and it cracked... 3=

Also full metal, gas blow back, and I have 2 green-gas clips. This one fires at about 350-400fps.

I haven't had the time to airsoft in a few years...might have to get back into it now that I am graduated.

Ahh Airsoft... I keep meaning to get back into it and then I never find the time or money.

I've got a decent AK47 Rifle from before that damn VCR act came out over here, meaning it's a full replica (no orange tip) with selectable fire modes.

If I ever find the time and get back into it I've got a dream loadout of an L85/SA80 with a P90 sidearm and a Colt 1911 just to be over the top, but getting proper replicas for all that would cost me about £1000 (yes one thousand) and since I have a fully functioning rifle already, I'd be getting the new ones as replicas and not just cheap imitations to get me into the game.

If it was legal in Australia, I would love to have a nice airsoft rifle (I hesistate to call in a 'sniper rifle' but that's basically what I mean).

I'm ordering those soon so I can go to Comic-Con 2012 as a MW2 Shadow Company Goon, and plus I'm also getting into airsoft soon as well since I'm ordering a crap-ton of airsoft gear (Vests, holsters, slings, pads) for the Cosplay outfit... Sure as hell can't wait for the day I order. :D

Sad to say that I don't actually own any Airsoft weapons.

If I were to try it out, I'd probably want an MP7 (Light & Laser) and a Mark 14 EBR (High-magnification scope, Harris bi-pod, Light & Laser.

Why? Because I love the two of them, and they're really nice to hold.

Whether their real-life feeling transfers over into an Airsoft version I leave to you :)

I don't have any pics but I have a replica D. Eagle that I got when I was 14, half price from £80 down to £40! It's only spring loaded but it's as powerful as spring loaded can go. I think half a joule is in there somewhere but they may be wrong and probably doesn't make sense.

I'd like to get into airsofting but there's nowhere around me that I know of where I can do it, plus it's hella expensive to get into after a quick google took me to airsoft world 5 minutes ago

No offence but orange tips are a sign of cheapness.

I'm currently using an AR15 - Vietnam style. Plastic bodyframe with metal stock and magazines. The Hop up is adjustable and is hidden under the ejection port on the right hand side. Fires at just over 327fps, with 16 rounds per second. It's a nice piece of kit.

Sidearm, I use a P.228 - Nice light pistol - Gas blowback, with 20 round magazine. Nice and steady and sounds awesome when the slider clacks.

Might upload pics soon - slightly busy at the moment.

i use a G&G
Keep buying G&Gs, I hear that they're insanely durable, especially their Combat Machine M4s.
TM's are far, far better durability wise. I've had my TM AR-15 for about 8 years now and the only problem with it is a chip on the ejection port.

If you're going to buy a rifle, get it from TM ( Tokyo Marui )

I use a JG G36C. I've had to replace the stock battery and the bushings, but now it works like a dream. Don't have a sidearm yet, but thinking of getting a Beretta M92.

You say they're a sign of cheapness but(this is what it looks like at first glance and may not be 100% correct) for us in the UK you have to have a special license to buy a RiF
UKARA said:
The only groups of persons now allowed to purchase RiF's are Film,TV, Museums, Theatres, Crown Servants, and persons engaged in Re-enactement activities, and airsoft skirmishing. All these purchasers must be over 18 years of age.
So I am unable to buy a realistic weapon from a proper store at all as I'm under 18, and when (in 18 months, a long wait!) I do turn 18 I'll have to find an Airsoft game centre near enough to me that I can go at least 3 times in two months to earn my license.

So it's actually really hard to avoid orange tips in the UK

I'm aware of UKARA, I live in the UK myself. I believe the rule from purchasing online - still much better than buying at a store, is you must have 50% of the rifle sprayed a bright colour.

Luckily, I owned my rifle before this rule was imposed and never bothered to buy a new one due to the reliability of my current rifle.

Fair enough. I kinda assumed you were from the UK. I got my D. Eagle before the restrictions thankfully but it's all I have :(
But wouldn't it be possible to buy a two tone then spray the green (or whatever) black?

Getting a cutlass and not getting a second one should be some crime or something.
You must get a second.

But that's if you have the money to fork out along with import costs if you want a higher end model, and a lot of us aren't willing, or are unable to do so. And just about every G&G is comparable with TM upgrades and accessories.
