So it's actually really hard to avoid orange tips in the UK
I reckon it's balls for surprise tactics though, those orange tips are a dead give-away.

I'd like to get into airsofting myself, but it's downright illegal in the Netherlands. Sometimes I can't stand this country.

Fair enough. I kinda assumed you were from the UK. I got my D. Eagle before the restrictions thankfully but it's all I have :(
But wouldn't it be possible to buy a two tone then spray the green (or whatever) black?
You could yes, but only after you have got your license from UKARA, otherwise the site owners will more than likely tell you to use a hire gun.

i use a G&G
Keep buying G&Gs, I hear that they're insanely durable, especially their Combat Machine M4s.
TM's are far, far better durability wise. I've had my TM AR-15 for about 8 years now and the only problem with it is a chip on the ejection port.

If you're going to buy a rifle, get it from TM ( Tokyo Marui )
But that's if you have the money to fork out along with import costs if you want a higher end model, and a lot of us aren't willing, or are unable to do so. And just about every G&G is comparable with TM upgrades and accessories.
I think mine cost around £320-ish about 8 years ago. The particular chain of gun ( XM177-E2 ) is now infact discontinued, which makes me happy because now if I ever sell it, I'll get more!

I don't really like GBB pistols I own mine mainly because A) It's the British Army Standard pistol and I love the feel of it and B) Because I love the sound they make!

All gold eh? Well, at least I'll see you coming xD

Sorry got no pictures to post but I run a SRC G36 KSK Gen III, Well/Warrior L96 stock and a KWA M9 PTP.

All really good weapons despite a lack of any real exoticness or flair, I don't need anything special to utterly own at airsoft anyway.

Yeah, there's a site not far from where I live that runs skirmishes every other sunday. It's good fun, you'll have loads of awesome stories of daring assaults, amazing defences and stupid antics after just a few games!

costs me about £35 a session ( lasting anywhere between 7/9 hours ) and that includes - 5000 0.25g bb's, masks/goggles and entry. It's far cheaper than paintball ( and much more fun! )

For a first time I would recommend using a hire gun ( If the site does them ). I would say give it a go. It's good fun and you'll make some awesome mates!

I did a quick bit of googling. There's a site 35 min drive from me that does hire guns. Semi auto, 3000 bb's for a 7 hour day. £45.

I may take a look

That's not a bad price, I'd recommend going, it's definitely worth it. Also, it'll give you an idea of what your getting yourself into! Trudging through swamps, being soaked and covered in mud and falling over...lots!

My weapon of choice are a Thomson Sub-machine gun and a colt 1911 // I also don't got in for this armor or vest or chamo gear // When I go airsofting I wear a pinstriped suit, shirt, tie and waist coat
