All my gear is Marui, from before the VCRB (There's a CQB site nearby, so when I have the time I'll get licensed.)

- M-16 Assault Rifle
- MP5 SMG
- M3 Shorty Shotgun
- M9 Samurai Edge Pistol (racked up more kills with this then the rest combined, I love the damn thing)

Once I get a skirmish license I'll get a USP w/ metal slide, been eyeing one up for years.

I'm hoping to get one of these, preferably clear just because how twitchy people are around airsoft guns.

http://www.pyramydair.com/p/hk-MP5-navy-dual-power-airsoft-rifle.shtml

I've always liked the MP5, and the fact that it was made in the country that my family orignated from is just a bonus. Though living in Canada I have to say I can only dream of airsoft guns the likes of which some of you have. We can't get airsoft guns sent in from anywhere else unless we're a company, so the airsoft stores make a killing off of over-pricing mere spring powered pistols.

That gun I gave a link to? 77 dollars there, here it would be roughly 330 dollars.

I also got a cheap electric Desert Eagle with a cheap electric (rechargable) M4 with a grip and red dot sight, although the batteries on the dot sight need to be changed out. For armor I wear a full face helmet, a padded vest underneath a denim one with lots of pokets and I use elbow and knee pads. I'm currently looking for forearm guards and some maybe something that covers more than my knee for leg armor. Oh and a crotch guard, defenatly need one of those.

And I take it you have all the camo and stuff? Do you actually get much benefit out of it because in Paintballing camo wouldn't be very useful
Yes, unlike paintball you're not being shot with, paint! So it actually works like it would do. the only downside is washing it all afterwards! That takes for ever...

The webbing and Hydration packs are your best friends - Allows you to drink when fighting and stops your pockets being bagged down with magazines/battery packs.
Hadn't thought of that, How long do the games last that you need hydration packs and what are the game modes that camo helps?
Hydration packs ARE ALWAYS useful - 2L and up. Camo is useful for every occasion. It helps you blend in and might stop you from being shot... repeatedly - also, gloves. Gloves are the shit. Protect your knuckles and the backs of your Ear's, because that shit stings.
I assume Paintball gloves work?
As they're plastic backed. Dunno what to do for ears though
Anything to cover the knuckles will do. Boonie hats normally do the job for ears.
A hat's a good idea. When you said something to cover the ears I was thinking along he lines of a full paintball helmet

Camo helped me take out half the op once - Hid in a bush and they all walk past me...They thought it was friendly fire until someone saw me moving for a reload.

Also having a dump pouch is great...Empty mag? Drop it in your dump and forget about it \o/
Hmm. What's dump pouch? Like a bag you strap under the magazine so it just drops in when you reload?

<---- Airsoft Noob
If I remember, it's a little pouch around your waist that you can just dump the magazines in - atleast that's what I have.

EDIT: Don't bother with full face helmets, stops you looking down the sights.

Yeah its bag thats on your persons somewhere (mines on the back of belt of my webbing *see pic in earlier post* You can get leg ones and such) that you just chuck mags in when they are spent they've got a elasticated lip to stop them spilling back out.

What? No StG 44 automatic rifle or walther pistol? Also why are they illegal, are you in Australia?

I wonder if PAX allows empty airsoft gear. Last I checked, they didn't.

Awesome, man! I've considered getting a cheap M4A1 Carbine, but I have nowhere to put it. The Cutlass was $135, and even if it doesn't work too well it's one hell of a collector's item.

Dynamic Entry is very important. Does it have a drum magazine?

Sweet! Better than nothing, I guess. The Cutlass gets about 360 fps and right now it's all
I've got. I'm afraid to man up and buy a "real" airsoft gun.

Getting a cutlass and not getting a second one should be some crime or something.
You must get a second.
Evike.com also has shoulder holsters and spare mags. I think I'll be buying it today before my 15% off coupon from the first runs out.

Always wanted to go airsofting, don't know of any local places though. But I have the Tokyo Marui AEG P90 which I love. 800 rounds a minute woot.

I saw my self going if I ever do go with that, a Spas 12 on my back and a pair of CP99 compacts. Oh yah.
800 RPM? DAMN, SON! I would love to get an M500 Shotgun and a revolver of some kind. Why? Because shotguns and revolvers. End of sentence.

A replica H&K MP-5SD AEG for me, with a spring 1911 real weight sidearm. Yeah, I know you can't use spring action competitively, but it's been so long since I've been out playing airsoft it's almost a moot point.

Also, Cutlasses aren't cheap. $125 on my budget is a bit steep, but I did but a printer last night...aw, hell, you only live once.

Hmm, I'm still trying to look up the rules for Comic-Con. If they don't I can still wear the gear and leave all the weaponry back home... :p

I know PAX frowns upon bringing weapons in, but I don't know about replicas or fakes. Probably still a no, and I'd imagine the rules for each are fairly similar.

netherlands, and no not an stg44 auto, they are harder to send by mail from china. also the berreta i got from france. though they are illegal me and some friends just play in the woods sometimes, even in the city in some quite neighborhood. same deal as paintball. and the fun part is that the losing team has to dye their hair blue or red
