Would I say they're overpowered? As long as your gun can shoot from further away, and they don't get to you first, probably not.

Apart from the frankly aggressive lack of spelling/punctuation/grammar, I actually agree. Shotguns are close rang weapons, so get something with a decent reach and mow them down before they have a chance to return fire

Yes, overpowered - two shotguns are actually overkill. But if you miss, you get another shot - and reloading is not even slower! This setup is also pretty damn ridiculous. When people start using 1887 or Ranger w/ Akimbo, I start using Claymores and Scavenger. So far, it's pretty effective since they can't use SitRep (they need that Steady Aim, after all), and most of them never look down.

I DESPISE them. They're VERY powerful, stupidly fast to reload and have ridiculous accuracy. I hate people who use nothing but them because they have no chance of getting a kill with anything else, same goes for all you riot shield spammers out there.

I actually find it impossible to join a Team Deathmatch game without some dick using them. Although killing them, picking up the 1887s and then using them to kill his team is hilarious. Especially when you end up killing the guy actually using them.

I don't like the Ranger Akimbo either, but at least they only have two shells each and don't quite have the range. AA-12 is a bit annoying considering it's fully automatic...I think the Striker and SPAS-12 are the only two shotguns I don't mind.

just out of curiosity why would someone's nationality make them better at killing you at close range?

lag, so many times someone will shotgun/knife rush me and i'll empty a clip into them at point blank and yet no hits would be detected, then when I look at the killcam, it doesn't show me shooting at all

I probably should have mentioned that i'm Australian

I only use the Model 1887 Akibo because of the sheer awesomeness of reloading Anrie style. But i have to agree.
