Because it is fox news. That should be all that needs to be said. If there weren't rules against low content posts I'd have make simple post "it's fox news", since that sentence should be all the explanation that is necessary.Frission said:Thank you.NameIsRobertPaulson said:http://www.scribd.com/doc/144977118/ABC Here is the portion of the LIST that has been edited to work with Scribd. OT: Why is it that I'm not even surprised about this?
Took a look at the list. Some of them are major WHAT THE FUCK moments. "There weren't any terrorist attacks on American soil from 2000 to 2008" you know, except the biggest one ever. "The Lorax is indoctrinating our children against rampant industry?" if EA is anything to go by, the Lorax is still relevant even after all these years, and is a message not against industry, but against careless selfish, self-destructive industry!Frission said:Thank you.NameIsRobertPaulson said:http://www.scribd.com/doc/144977118/ABC Here is the portion of the LIST that has been edited to work with Scribd. This is excellent. What's she doing on Fox? She clearly doesn't belong there.shintakie10 said:So this whole thing is apparently startin somethin at Fox News. Normally when a pundit says somethin insane, most reporters/anchors/hosts just either nod their head or pretend it wasn't as insane as any rational people think it was.
Fox news' own Megyn Kelly actually questioned this entire thing, on live television, and persisted with it for an entire segment.
At first the way she's smilin and even kinda laughs makes you think that she's just goin to do the nod her head and agree garbage. Then BAM, all out assault.
She seems quite legitimately pissed that one of her colleagues actually believes the crap he's spewin.
Full thing here.
Some terrifyin things that happened. She actually brings out facts. Real honest facts. She brings up the fact that homosexual couples fair no worse than hetero families when it comes to family raising. Its...I dont even know. If this is some sort of ruse, its probably the most convincin ruse ever.
that was funny my first question when he went to nature i was like....what about lions? dont the ladies go hunt while the men are lazy?OhJohnNo said:This is excellent. What's she doing on Fox? I'm getting some odd formatting errors. Words aren't stopping at the end of a line, they're cutting off and finishing on the next line. Usually, she's doing the same thing the other anchors and pundits are. Pushing their agenda and saying "fuck the facts."OhJohnNo said:This is excellent. What's she doing on Fox?
The way I see it, there's one of 2 possibilities here:Zachary Amaranth said:Usually, she's doing the same thing the other anchors and pundits are. Pushing their agenda and saying "fuck the facts."OhJohnNo said:This is excellent. What's she doing on Fox?
At a guess, the only reason she's nailing this guy is because he offended her personal sensibilities, and only THEN do facts and science come out and only then do they matter.
Megyn Kelly brought up same-sex couples in a decided departure from her usual narrative on homosexuals and homosexuality, for example. She's right at home on Fox, and I'm sure as soon as they increase the mind-altering substances in the food at the cafeteria she'll be back in the fold, railing against the gays and blacks she just selectively used as examples.

And it's funny how the flip the narrative once the kid is born. Suddenly, the mother (or parents) is irresponsible and shouldn't have had kids.their economic issues make having a child impossible so they wouldn't be able to provide
And you ever notice how these assholes never seem to bring in what the father is doing? A lot of times in those situations the father says "fuck that, I'm not sticking around for the kid" or maybe the dad won't get work and yet they never mention him, that "if men should be the breadwinners" he should be providing for his children and wife...no it always come back to the mom. Not man bashing, or at least not trying to, and I admit I'm generalizing, but more I'm just commenting on how conservative men rant and rave about this stuff.Zachary Amaranth said:Female lioness? Sorry, being a smartass aside...

Well, for them it's not that the mother shouldn't have had kids. It's that the mother shouldn't have sex, because these guys don't like contraception or abortions either.Zachary Amaranth said:And it's funny how the flip the narrative once the kid is born. Yeah, because you aren't allowed to have sex when you're not able to sustain children, see demonising birth control.Zachary Amaranth said:And it's funny how the flip the narrative once the kid is born. Suddenly, the mother (or parents) is irresponsible and shouldn't have had kids.
I'd like to think maybe she learned, but I'm betting it's 1. I'm betting she's back to bitching about blacks and gays next week, even though she just used them as examples of archaic prejudices. Megyn doesn't even seem all that pro-woman, based on of some the crap I've seen her say in videos, so I'm betting this is JUST because it attacked a specific body of women. Women who work. Like her. She seems fine slamming middle and lower-class women.OhJohnNo said:The way I see it, there's one of 2 possibilities here:
1) She's the usual selfish, short-sighted conservative, the type who only cares about discrimination when it's directed at their group. This is a sort of cognitive dissonance I shall never be able to understand.
2) She does the usual rhetoric to get monies and stay at her job, and only now has something finally offended her enough that she can no longer, in good conscience, justify it to herself.
I sort of wonder how the cognitive dissonance doesn't make their heads explode or something.Screamarie said:And you ever notice how these assholes never seem to bring in what the father is doing? "Men should be the breadwinners/responsible!"
"Single mothers are damaging out chilluns!"
Of course, we all know that single women are all out to destroy society by eschewing men and intentionally becoming leeches on society, so it's all moot. <.<
