The only thing I need to know is: how is this different to WoW?
Well read the whole thing, and you shall see. :D
Already did, couldn't see anything different to WoW apart from no wPvP
Uh...

It has:

-Dynamic Quests and Personal Story, instead of static quests, the world changes.

-More Dynamic Battling, you can roll and combine attacks with other players.

But I won't go far into it because if you read it you should know the difference, unless you don't know what WoW is.

Yoshirian:

There's a playable race called the Charr who were bad guys in the first game, and still are as they destroyed the starting kingdom early in the game. Yet, in GW2 they are a playable race, the intricacies of party interaction could be interesting with all races, as they hate humans yet are at peace with the Norn, another playable race.

Dynamic quests could be constructed in such a way that in a particular story mission/quest, additional aid that would be there had you done one particular action, but not if you chose another path...bringing ramifications for all the party if you pissed someone off.

You're right, there's no concrete evidence because the beta isn't out yet, but I do have faith as I loved the first game which in many ways was more restricting than WoW.

Also, no online fees. Booya.

Additionally, I want an ammo system. Seriously, pulling arrows out of my arse might leave one less thing to worry about but it's something that's pretty obvious. Especially as there are now pistols in the game.

What does 'personal story' even mean? How does the world change? These things are too vague:

"Your story begins when you create a character. The choices you make at the beginning of the game - race, profession, and biographical details - set your character on a customized story track. But it doesn't end there - as you adventure, the decisions you make spin off into new storylines and new directions. Your character's story reflects your interest and your choices - no two players will have the same experience."

I.e. WoW. In WoW, you create a character and choose race & professions. Biographical details - what do they matter if they don't affect the game? 'Customized story track' reeks of Dragon Age: Origins, where you get a few custom quests at the start and then its rail-road questing. Also, WoW basically has custom starter quests depending on your race & class. You claim that "no two players will have the same experience" but fail to provide any concrete details on how this will happen.

Basically your entire post was vague and uninformative, making bold claims and not backing them up. Also, most the claims could be met quite easily by WoW.

Another example: the game claims it has dynamic quests, mentioning that quests you fail/complete will have an effect on the game. However, how will this work for other players? Will other players see your 'persistent effect'? If so, how will you create endless content for everyone to do differently? If not, then it's not really a persistent effect - just an illusion for your particular character. Fail. Note the 'multiplayer' in MMO?

For me this just seems like another developer trying to make bold claims to draw away current and ex-WoW players without backing them up with any real evidence. WHO claimed it was going to revolutionize the MMO genre too, and look where that ended up.

Face facts: without a D&D-style approach, with DUNGEON MASTERS, 'persistent worlds' are not possible for large-scale mainstream MMOs.
Go onto the Guild Wars 2 site, it answers all of those questions, plus there is GAMEPLAY already out showing dynamic quests in work. Almost all previews say they work exactly how they said they do.

This is the only MMORPG that I am considering getting.

It looks so good. I hope it is as good as it looks.

Bookmarked.

*edit* Arenanet has been pulling information from forums regarding the leaked class information from today and has been asking people to wait a week, guess I'll talk about the thief-ish class when it shows up officially.
