I just got an awsome Idea(sorry if it's a little too off topic), what if we made a "Would you kindly........" flash mob. I just think it would be a pretty good idea.

p.s. If you don't know what a flash mob is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_mob

p.s.s. Just so I actualy contribute to the thread; I think "press X not to die" would work pretty good, everyone who is a gamer could respond by saying "X".
The zombie mod sounds appealing, though most non-gamers would squeal and join in, regardless. The zombie-horde spans beyond the gaming realm.

What's notable from a video game that a giant group can pull off? "Would you kindly" would be kinda cool. :)

Think about it. One person stands up and loudly says "would you kindly......" and the entire room (exept for a few confused people) stands at attention, until the same person tells them to do something, like "take cover" or something more game related.

You left this back at Black Mesa.
I find playing "Still Alive" in the car gets gamers' attention. ^.^ I don't live around a game culture, unfortunately, but I have ways of sniffing them out. :D

There is a car down the street that has a lot of gamer paraphanalia(spelling?) on it but I still haven't seen the owner. It has a snes controller hangin from the mirror and a bumper sticker that says "my other ride is a chocobo". Also the license plate frame is like a hud that says: player vehicle, with a life bar.

At first, I thought:

"It'sa me..."

and the other person say "Mario!"

But then I realized that some Italians might actually talk like that (and be named Mario). Then I was like:

"What if someone hummed the theme of Tetris?"

But then I realized that it's an actual Russian folk song (Korobeniki, to be specific), and Russians might randomly do it.

so then I combined the ideas. I say, hum the super mario tune.

Press Start, isn't bad either.

I've got fuzzy 20's hanging from my mirror.

"Snake?" That's seriously all you'd have to do...maybe if it was on a telephone and your connection was having difficulty you could go the whole nine yards and scream it.
"Snake? ...Snake!? ...SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!"

Do you think we, as gamers, should create some sort of greeting we can use to unearth fellow gamers nearby? If so, give me some suggestions and I'll add a poll

Lol! That's awesome! One of my friends has a Hummer adorned with COD4 work. If you go onto a site called "cafepress.com," you'll find most of what your neighbor has on his car, methinks. Not necessarily the car paint, but the bumper stickers and such.

In my car, I have a Phoenix Wright doll that hangs from the passenger seat, and plate frame with "Playstation2" and the PS2 logo on it. I wish I had time or knowledge to adorn my car - that'd be awesome. :D

We should do this RPG style:

Run up to the guy you want to talk to and yell "A, A, A, A"
Then they will realize that you are talking to them because clearly you pressed A to initiate the conversation.

"Here's to us"
"Who's like us?"
"Damn Few,"
"And they're all dead."

or if that's too long,

"Want some rye? 'course you do."
