Sending cupcakes? Now, that is a form of protest and criticism that I can get behind! Now, if only more forms of protest went that way. Occupy wallstreet... with eating cupcakes! That would be some good PR right there.

Genius!

Well, that will certainly send the message, if it ever get's through the door.

Clever, classy and crumbly. The best kind of protest.

Yeah, I can't really fault them on a pretty neat idea.

Congratulations guys, you passed the "no longer pathetic children throwing a tantrum" test!

Its hard to hate very clever protest

Too bad it'll probably go well over the developer's heads and they'll all go "Cupcakes? I'll just snag whatever's left after the rest are done"
Kinda like everyone else and used games sales, am I right?

Ba dum Ksssh!

CAPTCHA: Sun Tzu Says... (Make war, not love? I dunno, that's all it said)

Alright, what the FUCK? I had to hit the reload button on the capthca thing 7 times before it stopped asking me to enter fucking advert lines. This is getting scary and I don't like products I DON'T WANT OR EVER WILL WANT being foisted upon me in such a manner. It just feels manipulative and sneaky.

I would have thrown them out, no reason to chance it, because they could have been filled with laxatives.

I love the reference to the buttons and the cupcakes taste being all the same. THIS is the way we should protest (not saying it has to be expensive). Unfortunately such methods are too tame for news casters.

This is pure genius, it sends a clear message and in a funny way as well. This is how protests should be done in future

It's funny 'cause it's true, although I would definitely add 'delicious' to the mix.

All that's left is to hope that their protests have some effect. I'm fairly sure all the cupcakes elicit *some* kind of response. :3

Couple of notes:

The cupcakes are being sent directly from Fuss (the company) so no risk of angry fans tampering. It's perfectly safe for Bioware to accept them. I think they would have said on the thread if they didn't want them, or locked it.

In addition, the mods/devs seem pretty chuffed about it - several of them have posted to the thread to say "this is awesome" etc. So no hard feelings around, maybe it'll help to dispell some of the negativity currently on the BSN. Since they're following the thread presumably they also get the joke - some of them have tweeted about it.

"Creative cupcake protest respected and appreciated. Still, would a creative "send Priestly a protest Porsche" be too much to ask? #greedy"

I like it. A bit mischievous, but all in good spirit. After all the venting and namecalling this is probably the relief that everyone needed. Great gesture, people. If you do a second run, please point me in the direction, I kinda missed this due to a lack of bioware forum using.

This was actually a really sweet, gesture. Now all Bioware has to do is send them back some even better cupcakes; preferably ones with more of a variety of flavors and that taste like they weren't made in 5 minutes..........and with sprinkles on them...

Cool idea, nice way to protest without being negative about it or giving a bad impression. Shame no angry fans will send cupcakes to my office. :(

That's quite clever xD
Having steadfastly avoided ME3 I have no comment on the situation beyond: where's my free cupcake? D:
