any game movies people actually like?

I thought the resident Evil movies were pretty decent, they were far from the best, but I found the first two to be pretty watchable (I didn't like the 3rd because they killed everyone who was even remotely likable).

The Prince of Persia was pretty damn good to, even though I thought the ending was kinda iffy.

I have to agree with Advent Children. But the best live action... well I'll count the web-series featured right here on the escapist. There Will Be Brawl. Seen in one setting it's movie+ length or so. I've seen the longform Lynch Dune, so I've sat thru longer. TWBB, we want a prequel.

I will always love the first Mortal Kombat movie in all of its 90's cheeseness, the first tomb raider and first couple resident evil movies weren't too bad.

as far as animated movies go the Street Fighter 2 movie, Advent Children, and VII Last Order OVA are all awesome

I also have a soft spot for the Mario movie, I don't care what you think, I'm not judging you so bah. It's a decent adventure with a surreal realistic version of the games (not to mention mock potential through the roof) and there will never be a movie like it ever again.

Super Mario Bros. was fun too, and had a great cast at least.

Hm, and here I thought I'd be the only one. So yeah, this is about the only game movie I've ever liked.
