True, and that's usually not a good thing...oliveira8 said:To be honest..you can finsih alot of games in under 8 hours(main quest without doing sidequests, hidden objects etc etc)Jandau said:It's enough to get the feel of the game. And it's definately not enough to review a serious sandbox game. If you want to comeplete everything and see all the endings/cutscenes/stuff it will probably take more than 8 to 10 hours.
I'm not saying the reviewer should finish every tiny detail of the game, but at least play it from start to finish once. Without that, you're simply not doing your job.
There is no need to, the Gamestop I went to had a ton of copies.Roamin11 said:Im going to kill slaughter and pull a Alex Mercer just to get this game.....
DAMIT I SHOULD HAVE PREORDERED
Never a good thing. Theres always those games that like to hide the low gameplay count with 9 hours of cutscenes *cough* Metal Gear Solid 4 *cough*Jandau said:True, and that's usually not a good thing...oliveira8 said:To be honest..you can finsih alot of games in under 8 hours(main quest without doing sidequests, hidden objects etc etc)Jandau said:It's enough to get the feel of the game. Touche sir, good point. Granted, people who stuck through all the games in the MGS series seem to LIKE the cutscenes and are often annoyed when they are interrupted by gameplayoliveira8 said:Never a good thing. I've only known about Prototype for a month or so. I'm curious to see how it compares to inFamous. I'm not particularly partial to sandbox games because i don't feel a strong connection to the world or the story in most cases. I never got into GTA games for that reason, although i really enjoyed Fallout 3. InFamous is supposed to be very good at connecting you to the characters and the city, although i haven't played it yet so i don't actually know.Mackinator said:I never even heard of it coming out until now.

Sorry to let you down, but it is not released until tomorrow in the states.PureFlight said:I've only known about Prototype for a month or so. I'm curious to see how it compares to inFamous. But yeah, Prototype came out today, 6.9.09, in the states. It's already lunchtime, so SOME protoFan has to have gotten it already!
Sucker Punch develops exclusively for Sony. All the Sly Cooper games were on PS2 only.hailmagus said:It's released tomorrow where I'm at. I don't know buddy, I was able to play a little inFamous the other day and I'm pretty impressed (since the games are often compared to each other being extremely similar) too bad it's for PS3, though and me being a 360 man. But I don't see why a port wouldn't be possible in the future...Erana said:Wait, its already out?! Damn, am I clueless, or what?
My local Best Buy didn't have it, but the Gamestop did.wgreer25 said:Sorry to let you down, but it is not released until tomorrow in the states.

Everyone, you have no reason to worry. This game is awesome, I have no complaints as of yet.
Same with me mate, stupid gamestop.....MasterStratus said:*sigh* I would've gotten it but the Gamestop near me is convinced it comes out tomorrow, even though the site says it's already out....
Ah well, I'll wait until tomorrow.
