I'm British and I actually hate my country and love America. I think I might have been some kinda mistake and shoulda been born in America. I've been to NYC, Philadelphia and D.C. and they're just the greatest places in the world! Well, actually Philadelphia was quite a shit hole lol but I can't wait 'til I move to NYC. Americans (at least the ones that I met over there) seem to be much happier than the miserable pricks and football hooligans I'm surrounded with a lot of the time

I enjoyed living in the States but I came home after 2 and a half years. Just out of interest, where are you in the UK?

No, generally the whole world is anti-American outside of America.

You forgot those of us inside America, as well. There are times when I wonder if America will single-handedly bring forth the end of the world(or WWIII(whichever comes first)).

Yeah, I know of those inside America who are anti-American, but I was generalising. Americans are usually either apathetic or patriotic about America, though.


America won't bring about the end of the world, though chances are it'll bring an end to itself.

People just refuse to see the goodness in a nation. Stereotypes are always negative. Im sure people only focus on the bad side to any country. I think we can solve this problem by pulling down the boundries and unifying the planet underneath one banner: Humanity. Then maybe racism and any kind of -ism could be wiped clean. You let your emotions take control, rather than actually thinking about anything, a great deal of the time.

Do you consider yourself above human nature? I am genuinely asking that out of interest, specifically because it states on your page you have a god complex, but I can't tell if you actually do (because you "realize" you have one), or if you're simply stating that as a joke.

I love my country. Sure, Bush was stupid, but I agree with the war. Do any Americans disagree with us going into WWII for pearl harbor? Then we should go to Iraq for 9/11.

But the government's fucked. The economy's pretty fucked. And, overall, America is a fucked up place nowadays.

I'm a leftie who agrees with most of what you said, probably, however, for different reasons. I don't disagree with our reaction to Pearl Harbor because the Japanese weren't hiding in mountain caves with as many rocks used as weapons as grenades, and the Germans were on their side. We had to fight WW2. This one...Afganistan didn't want to give up Bin Laden, we go in and take him, Iraq was and still is a useless fucking nightmare.

Tom Ridge was a bit of a surprise...
