You can't be serious. What? Do they think there are Punker gangs now? What a load of crap. That school was just being dicks for no other reason.
I have a record of maybe 6 things the school sent me home for. All of them apparently "gang related".

1st was the mohawk, 2nd was BLUE SHOESTRINGS, 3rd was a red backpack, 4th was because I had a few blue streaks in my hair, 5th was for me wearing BLUE CAMO and 6th was because I had reading glasses with a blue tinted frame.

To this day, I wish the school would get bombed.
Please be joking.

The ironic thing is that many other people had shirts with firearms, drugs and cannabis leaves, yet they didn't get an ounce of flak.

Yeah, I think it's getting to the point where people are getting over-protective and overly sensitive. Grow a thicker skin, people. The real world isn't all cupcakes and daisies.

Terribly sorry, lol.

Oh yes and when I got sent home for the above (see my previous posts) I saw one of my friends while I was leaving and I asked for something he had borrowed from me because he said he would give it back today and the vice-principle upped my suspension by two days because, and I quote:

"I was not supposed to be communicating with other students."

So yeah my verdict: all school systems are run by old-fashioned idiots.

Maybe a little ott but there are gangs that stick to a strict code of colour. As I said in your case, I doubt you'd be out waging war against the bloods but hey, you never know.
It's all that blue, makes you suspect.

Yes.. Apparently schools are still stuck in the 80's, where thugs wear leather jackets and mohawks, and beat people with bicycle chains..

It's not appropriate in school because it wouldn't be appropriate in the workplace. People get fired for wearing too much cologne/perfume, so why wouldn't kids get sent home for wearing something controversial?

School is there for kids to learn, not make controversial statements. Save that for when you go out on the weekends.

EDIT: On a side note, there was a kid who cross dressed and he came to school several times dress like a woman, and no authority figure said anything to him. I guess it's all about where you grow up.

don't hold it against me that i asterisked the two g's, i don't want to get banned

here's a great example of this society taking shit too far.

you feel comfortable saying the others, but not the n word, its funny because there really is no diff between all of them, so why is ONE specifically treated differently, and no i dont mean just you, i mean people in general.

in the same school i mentioned earlier we had an african american culture club. it was a nice place for african american descendents to get togheter and cook/learn about african american things, and everyone else that wanted to learn was welcome.

so i put in a request for a caucasian club, same premise, we get to learn and cook and do the cool things caucasians do and everyone is welcome. GUESS WHAT IM RACISST. according to the school at least.

If people get fired for wearing too much cologne/perfume, that is just as bad, actually worse. If someone is wearing to much, just tell them. If they don't stop, threaten to shorten their lunch break or something, but firing them is just way to much.

How do I love catholic schools.

Zombies, undead, (Death) Metal bands, zombie hands grabbing the tits of the wearer, skeleton hands raising the middle-finger, 666 or some bad words? No problem at all!

We aren't allowed to wear piercings (besides in the earlobe) in the area around the principle's office or in the classrooms of teachers that don't like them, mind you.

In compensation, Religious Education teachers may swear.

stupid as it may be, evreyone knows that ni**er is more offensive than the others, and i didn't want to be banned for writing it. the moderators would be far more likely to take action over that than other racial epithets. i do take your point, though

My friend was in one of those african american clubs and he said the only thing they did was talk about bullshit the whole time. He said it was an excuse to get out of class for an hour.

Not really. I should have said the people who wear too much cologne/perfume were warned several times. If the scent is offensive, meaning if it causes headaches or even causes an allergic reaction, then the person wearing too much scent should be fired if asked to stop wearing so much.

I had the police dispatched to my home, to search my room, because I drew a picture of counter-terrorist officers, clearly marked as being part of law enforcement, with guns. Read that sentence as many times as it takes for the stupidity to hit you like a load of bricks.

I was thirteen. Fucking thirteen.

EDIT: It didn't stop with that one incident in just that one school, either. It continued until I eventually dropped out because I was being pestered to death by overzealous administrative officials constantly having me put on observation, just because I brought a "Guns 'n Ammo" magazine to school.
I would of marched right up, glared at them, and uttered two words.

"Terrorists win!"

This reminds me when I was about four the school administration dispatched a social worker to my home for something I did in recess. What was the thing you ask? Draw the bloody Solar system. When was it satanic to have a child prodigy in a public school?

Fcuk with two letters switched around is fuck. It's the same reason why alcoholic beverage t-shirts are banned in schools. Just be happy you don't have to wear uniforms.

Actually, it's pretty easy to tell a crip/blood from a person just wearing blue/red. Even wannabe crips/bloods are easy to see. I spent about 3 years in that school. I was one of the only 4 white kids there. The rest were black and most of them called themselves either crips or bloods.

I observed for about a year. It got to the point where I would ask someone I never paid attention to if he/she thought they were a crip/blood. I was 100% correct in all of my guessing.

Edit: No racism intended in what I just typed.

Seeing as the majority of people in the US are Caucasian and there really isn't anything to discuss I can't say I see any draw to that kind of club.

And I think that is somewhat justified (somewhat!) since "White clubs" are generally platforms for people to organize lynchings and such.
