I've flew under the radar for the most part, at least in my opinion, if anyone beleives otherwise, please, tell me.
One probation for a Yahtzee comment (I've bettered myself), and one or two locked threads, one of them being about religion.
I've never had a thread locked, and I've never been on the recieving end of any moderator wrath.
That said, I did once commit the cardinal sin of reading the first paragraph of someone's post and replying (rather angrily too), a big mistake and misunderstanding, and something I shall never do again.

I got in quite heated debate about fanboyism, a mod gave me and my discussion partner an unofficial warning, that if we were to continue on the same tone they had to take action against us. Of course I shaped up and ended the discussion in a polite manner, avoiding a real warning.
That was everything really, I try to be very polite on the forums and I don't like getting punished, getting into "flame wars" or trolling. I'm trying to get the Neo badge as well.

You realise now that certain Escapists may check all of your posts carefully and report anything that may be even slightly against the rules? Not that we're cruel or anything, but when some of us don't even get the first damn badge for 100 posts without wrath...Trivun said:

Sorry about that... I guess it's down to just being careful. Some of my really early posts were pretty bad, my first one was absolutely terrible with spelling and grammar and it probably broke at least two guidelines on posting as well, but it somehow seemed okay. In any case I've been a lot more careful now, so anything I post I think about much more first. The Neo badge doesn't matter too much, I just enjoy having a clean slate...Geek@Heart said:

Yeah, I too had the misfortune of getting probated early on.
