well I don't know if I'm oblivious so I think I'll just post my questions again, if I should take a hint then please tell me

how important is Appearance to you? (in relationships also I hate to seem well, like a ass I really do wonder though)

do you own a PS3?

how do you deal with guys who are genuine Chav bastards who believe that your gender heavily worsens your playing ability and how well you function?

Yeah I've got a question. How can you tell if a girl is a geek girl (And I'm in the mindset that you're talking about geeky as in maybe she plays games or watches sci-fi, not the steretypical blobs of fat and acne image of being a geek).

Says the guy with over 3,600 posts on a video game focused web site. Saying there aren't any productive geeks in a forum you frequent was awesome too. I have to ask, if you think only useless geeks come here, why do you come here??? And why do you bother to read (& comment in) threads made by people you don't want anything to do with?

I also got a chuckle out of those who post "So you're a girl. What's the big deal? It's not like you're special. Ok, here's my question..."
I am sorry, what exactly was your point? Did I ever claim I was productive? No. No I did not. And I come to listen to peoples opinions on interesting topics. Not to just ask a bunch of idiotic questions to a attention whore whose only defining characteristic is that they possess a vagina. Like that suddenly makes them more interesting.
In fact advertising such a thing and really expecting people to give a rats ass about their specific point of view just makes them even more worthless in my eyes.
Of course I have a fully functioning brain and have actually been with a woman (quite a few to brag) so do not get a major jolly over talking to one online.
First of all, major kudos for not being a productive, useful person, yet still managing to have sex with all those women. Having all that sex makes your opinion about as special as the opinion of someone who has a vagina. :p

I take that back. If you're a useless person, (which you certainly implied,) I don't care what you think. Originally, my point was to ask why you waste your time here if you don't want anything to do with the people here. Perhaps your life would have fewer irritations if you just skipped over the threads you're not interested in instead of taking the time to read & comment in them. Use that time to read something you actually like instead. Just a thought.

I read in a Fortune 500 article that girl gamers are simply obese males who have lost sight of their penis beneath their ever-increasing bosom... is this true, and if it's not, then kindly adhere to the tried-and-true internet sex verification and "Post tits or gtfo"?

EDIT: And if you do happen to be a lovely femme, then please be a dear and tell me how much you detest my outwardly sexist contribution after you've added me as a friend on Facebook/Myspace/Your Heart.

What would your ideal date be that pays homage to you as both a girl and a geek?
A good question, however I would start with this one

"Are you hot?"

No point in pursuing anything if she can't get my blood pumping.

Forgive me if I hijack the thread, but this saying always made me wonder: Is this something like heart malfunction or are we talking about blood pumping to the penis, transforming it from Von Limpenstein to Castle Erectionvania?

I fail to see what gender has to do with making a person special. It's just a arbitrary mix of X and Y chromosomes that determines whether someone is male of female.
$10 says you're gay. I mean, it's not homo if they're just a mix of X and Y chromosomes right?

Woah, the OP is, like, within 30 miles of me. Alas, she's also half my age, and I don't rob cradles.

So, yes, I'm on the market for a woman who doesn't mind a mate for whom computer gaming was his first and ongoing love. Therein would probably be my question: where would such a special lady be hiding? I mean, where are all the available ladies? They seem to be overly adept at hiding.

Actually, nevermind, such a question is probably beyond the scope of anyone who isn't downright omniscient. "Where's your Ms. Right? Tell you what, produce for me my Mr. Right and I'll get back to you on that." I think I was thinking more along the lines of getting an answer like, "try the LAN parties!"

I guess if I really cared all that much I'd try a dating service or something.

There are no girls on the internet. Although if you like creepy old men you can try anonidate.
Meet girls in vidya stores or fantasy/gaming/anime clubs in school.

... are you hot? JOKE SORRY SORRY (dont answer) heh

ok seriosly this time Ive gamed (Im male) since I was about 2 years old maybe a lil younger (Im 27) my brother started about the same time as me roughly I think (he's 3 years older) we both like our games and still play to this day

my sister (a year older than me) isnt a big gamer despite me and my brother getting her to try now and then

she games a little these days but barely

and heres the question
how come my sister isnt a gamer? she had 2 readily available gamers growing up so easy access to consoles games and people to play against/with
clearly its in the dna (me and my brother) whats going on?

any take on that? are you an only child? was there any sibling influance on your life as a gamer?

(sorry for the bad grammer not my strong point)
I'm not an only child, I had a brother Gamer who was eight years older than me, and I've seen a lot of girls get discouraged by having gaming siblings because sibling rivalry is rough and they'd rather move onto something they have an easier time winning at, because it is a bit more challenging for us to invest the time and attention it needs to kick brotherly asses. And there's the whole "other girls think it's weird" thing. Never underestimate peer pressure.

Nothing really, I wanted something to do and thought this was amusing, so I started a thread. That is what Off-Topic discussion is about, no?

Do you geek girls prefer gamiing with other girl gamers or guys as well? Do you intentionally seek out people to play?

P.S. Any of you on XBL can add me :) I prefer girls cuz they don't act like idiots like most guys on XBL Hopefully I'll get a 360 and XBL by Christmas

Appearance isn't terribly important to me, however, to qualify that, hygiene is very VERY important. Shave. Bathe. It lets intelligence and personality shine through.

Yes, one of the old big clunky ones that's amazingly still running.

I deal with them by laughing at them and their sad, lonely lives.

what is the best place to find girl gamers online and in RL?
MMORPGs, and we don't hang out in a specific place. I love used book stores and am praying for a physical thinkgeek store, but I also go to clubs and bars and parties, so really each girl is different as with anything.

To answer the question a ton of people asked... why are girls attention-whores over the internet?
Because it is easy to get attention. Ridiculously easy. Also, because I'd say a lot of people who spend the majority of their time online, or at least a good portion of it, only have the confidence to act that way on the internet. Guys are more flirtatious, girls are more attention-grabbing. If guys didn't fawn over the mention of a girl, they wouldn't act like they do. I'm pretty sure if one of you went somewhere where you were outnumbered by women who all were immediately friendly and flirty with you without asking any questions just because they knew you had a penis, you'd play along with it too because being flirted with makes you feel good and everybody likes compliments. So it's a self esteem booster that is very easily accessible and almost comically reliable.

High school is to be endured. My HS experience got clipped a bit when I was disemboweled senior year, but overall I got lucky in the friends department and managed to have *some* fun. And no, I don't hide my nerdy side. I'm plastered in geeky t-shirts about 80% of the time.
What do you mean by 'disemboweled'?
I had to get surgery that removed bits of internal organs. I even have a nice manly scar.
