american revolution would be cool, they could somehow work the masons and new world order stuff that was apperently going on.

but an 1800s victorian setting would be awesome, with all the cool buildings and people there,

like GENTLEMEN >:D

Personally, I'm not interested in wartime. Being an assassin during a war would be groovy, but not really fitting, IMO.
If any of these three things happen, I will be satisfied with the game not matter how bad it's ending. Or cliffhanger non-ending, as the case may be.

1) Desmund gives up the Animus and becomes a real assassin. 2) We get a new historical figure from, say, the early 1900's. 3) We go to the future, as many people hoped we would do in the sequel.

I'm hopeful, but not especially optimistic.

I believe the French Revolution would be a spectacular setting. Some other options in my opinion would the The Great War, The French and Indian War or Napoleonic Era, and finally the Dutch Golden Age. Why? Because chasing a target in a field of flowers with windmills sounds incredibly awesome.

I would have liked a Japanese themed AC, but oh well.
Another suggestions would be the Conquest of Mexico, The Russian Revolution, etc, etc.

I'm hoping for American Revolution. I'm sick of killing Germans in WWII, I wanna kill some ENGLISHMEN.

So, yeah, it looks like the ending for AC: Brotherhood will be lackluster.
But, on the bright side, umm... Nolan North is awesome?
EDIT: The only thing that kind of bugs me is that in the title of the article you represent Nolan by his main character, not by his real name.
That kind of diminishes his acting achievements, doesn't it?

As long as AC3 isn't set in World War II and it doesn't have a female assassin (I just don't see that working very well for some reason), then I will be happy.

Oh boy, another WTF moment.

Okay folks grab your Helmets it's going to be a bumpy one.

Anyway, I vote for the American revolution.
American Civil War has my vote with Templars on Both sides! Think about how stealthy you would have to be if you didn't know who was friend or foe.
You, good sir/miss, are a genius.

WW 2? Nooooo!
WW 1 not even.

Why set it in a war anyway?
Maybe BEFORE one, so you can assasinate enemy big wigs before the actual war?
It's a game about assasinating people, not a shooter!
That could work, but, remember, it's all supposed to be memories. You can't actually go and, say, assassinate Hitler because in the AC universe, WWII still happened (also, information in the second game suggests that Hitler was in cahoots with people such as Henry Ford, but lets not get into the discussion of the crazy (and awesome) that is ACII's weird story).
Hitler WAS assassinated by an Assassin though. This is already fact in the AC universe.

Does that mean it's another cliffhanger, or that it just ends quickly? While it may be more than just an expansion, it is not Assassin's Creed 3. Or maybe Mr. North just really had a lot of fun with this game. Take your pick.

Is Nathan Drake the guy out of Uncharted 2?
Yup. Check this dude's IMDb page, it's insane.

He won't catch up with Tara Strong, the undisputed queen of voices, check out this impressive resume

Well, the second ames "cliff hanger" wasn't confusing, good or even made me excited to find out what's going to happend next. So hopefully brotherhood is going to go into the "AC1 direction" but i doubt it...

I was under the impression that it was just going to be a purely multiplayer thing. There's a story? :O

I don't get it. Who's Nathan Drake and who's Nolan North?
He's the same person. It was a joke seeing how Nolan North voiced Nathan Drake as well as Desmond Miles, and he's gained a reputation for being the sort of "one voice to rule them all" type voice actor.
Well he is a great voice actor. And by the look of this article I'd say he's also a gamer. I like him.

I hope they play with the Red Scare. No one has the balls to even touch that these days. What wih America losing in Vietnam.
Pre-communist russia would be so much better, there was tons of unrest there during WW1 and AC2's Truth Glyphs already told us that Grigori Rasputin was the templar's head honcho there so you even have a boss where it's justified that you have to hammer away at him for an hour before he dies.

Either one of these would work, I think. It'd be interesting to see how it would play out.
