At Least One Anime You Love and One You Hate

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan, Bleach (sue me), DBZ (for getting me into anime), Gundam, Code Geass, Hellsing, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzamiya, Neon Genesis Evangelion (despite the complete mind-fuckery), Elefen Lied (surprising I despise mindless gore, especially with women, but love EL, don't know why...), Tsubasa Chronicles, Big O, Eureka 7 (despite the plot falling apart at the end), D.Grey-Man (especially D.Grey-Man), Full Metal Alchemist, FMA Brotherhood, Akira, and Casshern Sins.

I'm missing a few, I just know it.

Hate:
Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball GT, Naruto (anime only), Death Note (used to love, but overexposure killed it (I liked it before it was cool)), Yugioh 5Ds (CARDGAMES ON MOTORCYCLES!), Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and One Piece (anime only).

Fun fact, when I was in kindergarten, my favorite show in the whole wide world was Sailor Moon. We watched at the end of every school day in kindergarten while waiting for our rides. Strange how things go, isn't it?

Love: Serial Experiments Lain. I only got like, half of the plot watching it the second time through. Deliciously complicated. FMA:B, DBZ, Hellsing Ultimate...

Hate: Vampire Knight. Bleach beyond second season. Naruto (not Shippuden, because at least the fillers are sparse). FMA original. Trinity Blood (follow ONE timeline, please), Hellsing original (UGH) ><

Neon Genesis Evangelion: It's my all time favorite anime series for several reasons. I even love the Rebuild movies they're showing; they've failed to dissapoint so far.

THE best anime that I have seen so far is Evangelion. And the Rebuilds even make them better.

But also close to it is Hellsing Ultimate and the original Darker than Black. Hellsing probably comes closer to Evangelion, but still not quite close simply because it doesn't has Rei. But it has Alucard, THE best vampire until now and one of my favorite characters.

And the ones that I hate: Darker than Black Ry&#363;sei no Gemini. It's basically the second season, but it isn't as fun nor as good as the original one, and it was VERY disappointing.
Also Dragon Ball Z. Do not get me wrong, I grew up with that series, but as more people even today are fans and I kept seeing more anime better than it, I just learned to hate it. Same with Pokemon.

I've seen enough to know I dont like it. They all have a very similar style.

Sorry but I've seen enough to know that styles and genres are different. Anime isn't one big thing. It's as varied as films are.

Elfen lied is a lot more then just violence. It has a great storyline behind it. I reccommend ya just try it first.

I absolutely love Gurren Lagann, best.anime.ever. etc.
But hate... i don't really HATE any anime, i guess. Wait, actually, i do hate Lucky Star.

Dammit, i just searched my computer for a sweet picture that would have been perfect to show.Too bad.
Anyways, yeah, i do not like that sort of anime. Neither do i like too many randomness jokes.

I dislike Hayate the combat Butler, tough i had a few laughs, too.
In conclusion: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: my favorite. Lucky star: least favorite.

Hate: Naruto, Pokemon, Bleach, and...well, I don't know if it's hate, but KissxSis makes me want to go hide in the corner and cry whilst cradling my shotgun...T_T

Likes: Favorite anime ever would have to be Hellsing. Great story, amazing characters( Yes, I'm looking at you Alucard ) And because there is only 13 episodes, each on is action packed with little to no filler at all, and the manga is also amazing. Other favorites are Code Geass, Deathnote, Gundam00, and, as my avatar suggests...Dragon Ball Z.

Hates: Ehh...idk, i truly haven't yet seen an anime that i can honestly say I hate.

Haha ok smart ass. Though they share one comparison Clamp's style is still different from Oda's in regards to expression and the like.

I both love and hate Elfen Lied. I have a penchant for the macabre and I wasn't put off by the violence, but most of the characters were so damn stupid, that I felt like they should've died within the first three episodes. The two characters that I actually liked, Nana and Mayu, didn't show up for a little while, so I was left wringing my hands in anger.

For individual anime that fit each category:
Love: Azumanga Daioh, Clannad, Hellsing, Higurashi, Full Metal Panic, Evangelion... hell, too many to list.
Hate: Shuffle. Just Shuffle. Most pointless excuse for anything that I think I've ever watched. Then again, I was let down by the supposed yandere aspect, so my bitter feelings probably cloud my judgment.
