At Least One Anime You Love and One You Hate

i LOVE bleach
i liked Onepiece but there was too much to catch up on so i couldnt get into it yet
I reeaally cant stand naruto, ive never been able to get into it ... and its just bad

I managed to get the big three in there :')
(FMA was also pretty awesome )

I'll be through and add in Manga loves and hates too. Starting with anime though:

Anime Love!

Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu!: I think it's pretty funny. Yuki is my favorite character though

PuniPuni no Poemi: two words: Fan service

Detroit Metal City: it is the Japanese equivalent of Metalokalypse...only slightly better

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan: Other than Fan-Service, I love the insane comedy

G Gundam: This is my favorite iteration of the Gundam franchise for two reasons: 1, the way the Gundam control layout is set up. 2, it presents a very interesting look at global politics which I believe should be adopted

Hokuto no Ken: Taking place in a future where the world was devastated by nuclear attacks, this is perhaps the most brutal fighting anime out there. Kenshiro is looking for his lost love in a vast desolate wasteland killing all sorts of murderous thugs who get in his way using the extremely violent Hokuto no Ken (God Fist of the North Star)

ANIME HATE!

GundamSD: The computer animated Gundam show...I didn't like...

Dragon Ball GT: I found it unnecessary

New Fist of the North Star: Again, I found this unnecessary. I also hate how Gackt shoe-horned himself into the series. His character even raped a female lead which was never a theme of the show or manga.

MANGA LOVE!

Deathnote: I loved the story despite the mortality rate

Petshop of Horrors: Not a horror manga but a graphic one with moral lessons. I love it for the animals. There is also a good bit of comic relief in there.

Hokuto no Ken: Just like the anime the only difference is that the blood isn't censored and quite a bit more gore is added in

Detroit Metal City: see above

MANGA HATE!

Ju-On: I couldn't really get into that one. I am not big into horror to begin with.

Le Petit Coset: One that I got as part of a clearance sale. It seemed interesting but really wasn't.

It's a tough choice... Naruto, Death Note (Though L's Dubbed voice is just.... no...), Highschool of the Dead (It's new, but freaking amazing anyway) and Neon Genesis Evangelion

Hate is tough too... There are parts/arcs of anime that I dont like, such as the Endless Eight arc in Haruhi Suzmiya and most dubbed voices as well... not because of "loss of emotion" or anything similar (watch Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni if you feel that way about dubbed voices) but because of how everyone under 15 sounds like a 60-a-day smoker

Anime I like: Trigun, Code geass, Neon genesis evangelion, Love hina, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzamiya, Cowboy bebop, Hellsing, Elfen lied (which is my favourite), Escaflowne, Higrashi, Slayers, Welcome to the NHK and Hack//sign

Anime i hate:

FLCL (fooly-Cooly) I know that their are many hardcore fans of this anime (especially on the escapist) who are gonna hate me for saying this But i though flcl was rubbish. I couldn't even get through two whole episodes. The whole plot was just too random and conviluded for my liking. The other reason why i don't like it is because of its length as it is only around six episodes long. That how many episodes it takes me to get into a anime let alone it being that length in the first place.

Baccano: Even though i haven't watched a whole episode, i have a strong dislike for the art style it has and even that alone makes me hate a anime no matter how good the storyline is.

Shonen Jump Anime: yes all of them! except maybe death note but even that falls flat on its face past the 20th episode mark.

Mecha Anime: With the exception of Neon genesis evangelion and code geass (because they are not entirely mecha focused) I don't like mecha animes. I really do not see the appeal of huge robots fighting each other for a whole 20 minutes, i like depth in my anime's thank you very much.

FLCL (unlike everyone else who says they hate it, I liked it because it runs on nonsense, and is just zany as opposed to most of the anime I watch)

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai (that's right the second season. This has much better story than the first and while you need the first to know what they're talking about, this season was far superior).

Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple
Princess Princess

Really those two are the only ones I have a pure gut reaction of hate toward. I sat through half of Kenichi so it has its chance. I barely managed to get through the first episode of Princess Princess. I mean I just hated everything about it from the start. My friend and I called it Ouran done badly.

Bonus: Series with Music I love
While I do enjoy Umineko and can't wait for the second season, I have to say I like Kai better. Umineko does have one of my favorite soundtracks of any series though.

FLCL- Even though i dont think it is a bad anime all the hype around it just made it look bad... in comparison

Shingetsutan_Tsukihime- the ermmm oh story is like ermmm not there... 12 episodes of 20min to waste watching in your life... nurse fighter weird sister half vampire, dudes zombie when biten by a vampire, hands choped of grow again, and the freaking Eye seing lines of death thingy CAMON! half the time the dude kills is a normal kill why all the fuss around the eyes -_- (THIS ONE i really really hate)

One Piece,Naruto,Bleach - too much time, too big, stories just go on and on (i enjoy reading Naruto manga thought)

Love: Cowboy Bebop. It's hard for me to think of anything I don't like about that show.

Hate: Dragonball Z. So much potential, so much redundant standing around gawking at each other's newfound power. Dammit, stop staring at each other and growling and glowing, and fucking fight and blow up a planet or something already!!!
Seriously overrated show.

Berserk(Exceptional plot, epic art style and good characters mixed together with an awesomely dark atmosphere.)
Darker Than Black(Great action scenes, engaging characters, best. Ending. Ever.)
Code Geass(I didn't enjoy R2 as much as the first season, aside from the Chinese arc, but it was a fun show to watch.)
Gantz(Subversive, over the top and humerous. Just the way I like it.)
FMA(Brotherhood, that is. The first was good too, though.)
One Piece(Only good long-running Shounen.)
Neon Genesis Evangelion(I enjoy mindrape like that.)
Gurren Lagann(No explanation needed.)
Dragon Ball(Not Z, just the original comedy.)
AKIRA(Best anime movie I`ve seen.)

Hate:
Naruto(First few episodes were enjoyable, but it just sunk...)
Yu-Gi-Oh(Once the cheesiness stops being entertaining, anyway.)
Gundam Seed Destiny(Turned the decent original into a crap fest.)

Honestly, if sheerly because I try my hardest to not watch the crap... I have WAY more favourites than I should. And not that many come to mind for hated...

favorite is a tie between S-cry-ed, sailor moon (yes i am a guy and i love sailor moon), excel saga, FLCL, and eureka 7. all are well written, nostaligic, or just fucking random.

Like: trinity blood

hate: pretty much any anime that appeared on cartoon network/adult swim. the one i hate the most is Inuyasha. everyone who complains about naruto having filler needs to watch inuyasha. there are like 20 episodes that follow the story and everything else is FUCKING FILLER! its like watching the lord of the rings with only frodo

Love: FullMetal Alchemist for sure. The Brotherhood series though. I liked the sory in there more than the story from FMA itself. Hey, don't judge me!

Hate: There's no name that comes to mind at this point. though I will describe the genre.

Hate: The Tales OF anime.....I seen Symphonia and I immediatly said that I didn't like it. The only tales of that I did actually get through seeing some of was Tales of the Abyss...I stopped watching it because I really really really really REALLY REALLY REAAAAAAALLLLYYY hate that Red headed prick.
