I had one hover across an expressway at 3am, 50 ft off the ground, right in front of my car. Triangle of blue and white light. Folloed me for 3 miles. Took off and vanished into the sky in a split second. Sent a shiver down my spine. That was 5 years ago.

Are they coming today? Doubt it. Doubt it will happen in our lifetimes.

I believe they only come here to extract hydrogen from abundant liquid water, to use as fuel.

Earth is nothing more than a scummy gas station u loathe stopping at but have to so u can get where you're going.

On topic though, I find it hard to believe that we are alone in the universe. It's just too massive to think that we are the only sentient beings in it. While I like the idea of ET coming to earth and giving us a high five, I that Stephen Hawkings is right, and if they could get here, they would most likely obliterate us.

On the other hand though, any race with the technology to travel the stars, they should probably have evolved past the whole strongest = best philosophy, leaving an opportunity for mutual understanding.

But than again, I don't see the people of the world accepting them all that readily. I mean if people are still hating and killing each other over different books that were started before there was even writing, than they probably won't like what goes against there holy books. (I am primarily looking at the christians here because that is what I know best, but it also could apply to any other major religions as well.)

There is still a ridiculous chance that there are other forms of life out there, space is huge our galaxy the milky way alone is 100,000 light years across. Light traveling 299,792,458 metres a second would still take 100,000 years to cross it, and it contains some 400 billion stars which means more planets than you can shake a stick at :/

So while no I dont neccesarily believe that aliens are going to begin landing here, start beaming people into the spaceships and performing nefarious surgery on them. You still have to admit there is still a minute chance that some other form of life exists 'beyond'.

Oh and now I havent seen any green people walking around, shame
