I trust my own judgement over some sold out journalist. That way if I'm wrong I only have myself to blame. Besides journalist are retarded, the ones who say that controller is comfy are probably the ones that say CoD is good. That's their opinion, I have my own.
Liking COD = un-trustworthy bastard... huh. Why not try it out first, then call it a clunky piece of shit? See if a friend's getting it, or try find an event near you or something. No-one can judge a controller without actually holding it in their hands. I thought the PS3 controller would be shit in my hands until I tried it and actually found it more comfortable than the 360 controller.
I'm sorry your inability to read has left me unable to communicate. I never called it a piece of shit nor called anyone a bastard. I never said I wouldn't try it either, and sorry if you are unable to judge things for yourself but don't project yourself onto me and think I am unable.[/quote]

You messed up the quote. Ok, take out the words bastard and shit and I still have a point. You're making assumptions, and you should really try it instead of making assumptions. And don't say stuff like "I'm sorry your inability to read", seriously. Stop projecting yourself onto me and think I am unable to read.

...Yeah, this is annoying. Really annoying. I'm getting the next Xbox and the PS4, and there's no way in hell I'll be able to fork out for the Wii-U as well, and I really wanted to play a Bayonetta sequel. Even if I could, I'm not getting one just so I can play Bayonetta 2.
No money for you here, Platinum.
I understand wanting to get a PS4, but for the love of all that is holy, please explain to me why on Earth you would want to buy another Microsoft console after the abomination Microsoft turned the Xbox 360 into!
...Huh?

It functions as well as needed, it has good features and it has great exclusives. What's the problem?

No, just because you have no personal interest in a console doesn't make the exclusive shite. Tell you what, do what that guy above me said: wait until the console goes down a place, buy it pre-owned or from a friend. Or maybe even rent it off a friend. Get Bayonetta 2, play through it. Be happy.

Also, how does that example not work? What if the guy didn't have interest in a PS2? What if he couldn't afford a ps2? What if he just wanted an Xbox?

Ugh... I'm getting tired of this argument. I quit. Bye.
.....You started this argument. When did I use the word shite? I'm not going to wait until the price goes down or buy one off a friend because I think that buying a console for a single game is stupid. My friends all have an Xbox 360 or PS3 and haven't shown any interest in the Wii U so that's a no go too.

I already explained why the example doesn't work. If the person had a PS1 then it's safe to assume that he'd be interested in the PS1, y'know, the successor to the PS1 rather than a totally different console from a totally different company.

Like I already said, I get it. You like Nintendo. But if you're gonna get all upset and annoyed because some people don't then you're really not save on the internet.
What don't you get about "I'm getting tired of this argument. I quit. Bye". I'm sorry for being a person who likes Nintendo on the Escapist, and is willing to defend them against massive unneeded anger.

A sequel is going to be exclusive to a console that the first game was never on....

...wat.

Well, I guess my choice is clear then, sorry Bayonetta. :(

And "willing to defend them"? Seriously? Methinks you should go back and look at Yahtzee's Mailbag Showdown video again.

Like I said, you can RENT the console from a friend, or buy it really cheap in a few years. There's so many other alternatives, choose one instead of getting annoyed.

Still, this argument has ENDED! JUST LET IT END!

Whoever rants on this is an amateur fanboy.

Perfect Dark was a Nintendo series and Microsoft secretly bought Rare to fire all of its people, just so they can give the licenses of the studio to some untalented slackers, and thus Perfect Dark Zero was an xbox360 exclusive and a big turd.

Halo was designed to be an Apple Macintosh exclusive, when Apple decided to strengthen its until then week gaming aspect of its computers, and Microsoft suddenly and secretly signed a dirty deal and made it an exclusive for its consoles.

Skyrim,a game of the once exclusive PC series, now have its dlcs having time exclusiveness for xbox360...

SONY doesn't care about exclusives that much, but copies everything Nintendo does. A Mario Kart clone named Crash Bandicoot Kart or something,a Super Smash Bros clone,Wiimote clones,etc...

ok just gotta say my peice, it wont hurt you i swear.

perfect dark was abandoned by nintendo(along with rare) to MS and the fireings happend before it was aquired.

Halo came to the Xbox and MS because apple was late on paying bungie what they needed to finish the game and as such bungie told them to stick it were the sun dont shine.

Skyrim came to consoles and has timed exclusives for the 360 because its more profitible for the devs and publishers to do so(more 360s then ps3s or gameing pcs.)

and SONY cares very much about exclusives just not DLC exclusives.

ok thats covered now OT:

good for nintendo, hope they can get other good games for their new console cause lets face it they need all the help they can get.

I can't stand hypocrisy.
It happens all the time, yet when your favorite console publisher signs exclusiveness deals you are all "Oh how great Microsoft and SONY are!!!" and yet when Nintendo does the same thing you say "Oh how dare they do such a thing ? They are evil!!".
Double standards and hypocrisy. I'm disgusted.

Also while I can see why people are mad about it being an exclusive on a console it wasn't originally on. Why are people mad at Nintendo for actually releasing the game and not like SEGA for deciding to cancel it in the first place which caused Nintendo to pick up the publishing rights for it?

Sega wanted to publish it but they can't as they went bust and got bought out, now they are withdrawing themselves to digital publishing only, thats why there is a sudden rise in Sega HD remakes.

Uh guys? The Exclusiveness in a different console isn't new. For example, Kingdom Hearts. If you are a fan of that game, you needed a PS2, a GBA/GBSP, DS, PSP, 3DS. That game series jumped ship way too many times. At least Bayonetta 2 is coming out at around launch date to get everyone excited for it.

OT: Great on Nintendo's part. They seem to be following their word. Whether this matters or not will be seen on its release.

So Nintendo saves the Bayonetta 2 sequel by funding it. Quite fairly, Nintendo would want to have it exclusive. In turn, gamers decide they don't want to buy it and hate both Nintendo and platinum despite Nintendo saving the sequel.

I can under stand a bit of disappointment of not being able to buy it for their current console, but the gamers are acting way too butt-hurt like Nintendo killed their puppy and ran over it's body repeatedly. It's pathetic and absolutely hilarious the way they are acting. This is an example of why no one respects us.

So you'd buy an entirely new console for one single game? Fair enough, what you do with your money is hardly my business.
Well now, let's see the likely futures of the upcoming consoles:

-Wii U: Large third party support at launch, third party EXCLUSIVES for the system (almost unheard of nowadays), huge number of Nintendo's own in-house exclusive games, free online play, virtual console support, probaby digitally purchasable Gamecube games, backwards compatibility with Wii games, low-end hardware that is easy to program for and won't require such ungodly amounts of resources as Sony's and Microsoft's next consoles, Wii U Tablet Controller that offers unique and never before seen possibilities for games.

-New Xbox: Almost nothing but multiplatform games you can also get on other systems with an abysmal lineup of exclusives that are invariably trumped by exlusives on other systems in every way (which is an utter no-no when it comes to exclusives), no backwards compatibility with games from previous systems, online play that requires consumers to pay money for it in order to be allowed to play the games they have already purchased online (this is pretty much extortion of the consumer) and doesn't offer any form of superior quality of service in comparison to competing online services, Microsoft pushing it's buggy, ill-concieved failure of a peripheral known as Kinect EVEN MORE AGGRESSIVELY instead of focusing on the development of hardcore games, ADVERTISMENTS IN YOUR GODDAMN FACE WHEN YOU TURN ON THE CONSOLE THIS IS FUCKING DISGRACEFUL HOLY SHIT WHO THE FUCK STILL GIVES MICROSOFT MONEY GODDAMN IT; and high-end hardware which will inevitably drive the cost of video game development even further into insustainable heights bringing on an even greater dearth of creativity and originality, and an even larger homogenization of the medium, both in terms in aesthetics and in terms of mechanics, as taking any form of risk in the development of a game will be too financially unadvisable as games will have to sell EVEN MORE than they do in this generation merely to BREAK THEIR DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING COSTS EVEN.

-Playstation 4: Same as above, except with a large number of exclusives that are actually worth playing and are actually somewhat diverse, a free online service, NO ADVERTISMENTS, and peripherals that actually work.

So, even by your "logic", I don't see why you wouldn't have any interest in the Wii U, considering you have no problems with that rancid pile of garbage Microsoft calls a console.
The fact that you're trying to "compare" three consoles when two of them are barely even concepts at the moment makes it even harder to take what you say seriously. I'm not interested in the Wii U. Does that bother you? It seems like it does. Really shouldn't though.

Nintendo fans, always a great source of entertainment.
