Pretty good picks overall, but I can't help asking myself why you picked Miyazaki's worst film (IMO) as the animated film of the decade. Spirited Away was much better.

To be honest, i think that District 9 was infinatly better than Bastards, don't get me wrong i liked both films, but i feel that District 9 brought more to the table.

Nice choice in movies. I heavily agree with Serenity being the best. Was hoping for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to win the WTF movie category, but it isn't my review :p And when I got to animated movies, I was fully expecting Spirited Away to win for obvious reasons, but good work in actually choosing Howl's Moving Castle. It was the first anime movie I saw in cinemas, and is very dear to me.

I guess I truly am the only person who enjoyed Pandorum. I found it terrifying and one of the first good sci fis (besides District 9) I had seen in a while.
I quite enjoyed Pandorum myself actually, and after seeing that in the nominee list, I've got an itch to watch it again. Hell, even Oldboy, Minority Report, Watchmen, and The Dark Knight... and... okay, I'll stop.

Anyways, there are some great movies in there, even a few I still haven't had the chance to watch, but now have the urge to do so. I enjoyed it! Even if I'm more than a year late to the party.

In the opinion of a cinema buff i would say that there are some serious omissions from this list. Chief among them would be Letters from Iwo Jima, Lost in Translation, No Country for Old Men and Gladiator.

Others that i would have put on the list would be The Royal Tenenbaums and The 40 Year old Virgin in best comedy.

And for you're best movie of the decade i'm sorry but i can't see how you can even put Inglorious Bastards up there when it wasn't even Tarantino's best work of the decade and i personally would not have a single one of those movies in my top 5 of the decade save maybe Children of Men. For me it would have to be There Will be Blood, it features one of the greatest acting performances of all time by one of the best actors of all time in Daniel Day-Lewis and is an amazing exploration of what can happen to a man in the life and mold of Daniel Plainview and his ruthlessness in the frontier of oil drilling.

I did really like Inglorious Basterd's but for me, it kinda dragged on for a bit. Let's just say it wouldn't go in my top 10 films ever. I'm very glad you picked Let The Right One In for best horror, but for me it would be the best film in the past 10 years... some good choices overall for your best films.

EDIT: WOW! NECRO THREAD! Sorry...
