Still Alive

...from Mirror's Edge.
I hate how those 2 songs had the same name, but I'd agree with you. I liked the Mirror's Edge Still Alive better.

One of my favorite OST's is the Final Fantasy X-2 + Last Mission. There are some awesome tracks hidden away on that CD.

from knights of the old republic 2, after you've finally gathered all the masters together. The music really conveys the terrible pain of the place, and of the hope the galaxy has now that the Jedi have returned. I still get a little choked up hearing it..

Anything from any Silent Hill game, because Akira Yamaoka is awesome and the fact that he did the music for Shattered Memories kept me playing it. I'm tempted to buy all the OSTs because I love all the haunting in-game music.

LoZ Twilight Princess - Midna's Lament

I also love the Halo theme. It's incredibly epic and plus it brings back memories.

Most of the tracks from the first Megaman games were excellent, as well as a lot of the tracks from Ocarina of Time. Some of my very favorites, however, come from Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries. The sound is impressive, especially for a game made 14 years ago.

Some of my favorites include numbers 5, 14, and 19.

"To Far Away Times" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyemxHCJUNg&feature=related]

Chrono Cross:
"Dilemma" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P53DMUQx114]
"Another Termina" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlIcS34HhOI]

Legend of Zelda (all):
"Overworld" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDDZkrmOwlI&feature=related]
"Market" (OoT) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6kx4u0gLNw]

Surprised nobody has gone with civilistation 4, that's usually one of the first ones.
There are a few, but the two that usually jump out at me are these -

It was the first game-soundtrack that i really liked.
*listens*

Ahhhh :)

Well that's me done. Not really a lot else I can bring to the table after that.

I did really like the Rock/Persian/eastern style music that Prince of Persia: Sands of time had though. Far better than the nu-metal toss they put in Warrior Within. i suppose it fitted the mood of the game better though.

Absolutely brilliant. Hell, I might even make a CD out of them I like em that much.

Surprised no-ones mentioned it yet...

Shenmue
Oscar-worthy.
Easily one of the strongest pieces of music I've ever heard.

I have literally no idea what to say about it - it speaks for itself.

anything from Squaresoft, i think nobuo had his best stuff during the age of Soft.

God of War has some masterful music as well, quite epic

I'm still a sucker for the title theme ;)
