i would have to nominate Kefka, for being the bad ass that actually did what he set out to do, and not giving a damn about life (doma castle anyone?) still think kefka would school Sephiroth any day.

other Nominee would have to be Garland/Chaos from the orignal Final Fantasy, that was a good plot twist, and a hard fight.

I gotta give my vote to Major/Revolver/Liquid Ocelot from the MGS series. This guy is the embodiment of the Xanatos Gambit trope AND has been around in every MGS game. I mean..not even Solid Snake has that honor and, honestly, when you can still be a credible threat even in your 60s, then that makes you awsome in my book.
