Where have you heard your favourite voice acting?
I cant go past the entire MGS series with its cariacatured snake, (David Hayter) and then Crisis Core on PSP was pretty well done too, thoughts?
All the male characters in Crisis Core sounded like they were eunuchs.

My favorite voice actor in a video game had to be Simon Templeman, who did the voice for Kain in Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen.

Pretty much all of Mass Effect except for femshep. There was nothing wrong with malesheps voice acting, the actor Mark Meer was just able to convey a tough voice without sounding fake, unlike Jennifer Hales femshep. Such a shame since shes so talented. Maybe she should stick to less tough sounding female characters, because this isnt the first time Ive been irritated just by the sound of her trying to do toughness.

Id still say Baldurs Gate II beats that though. Jon Irenicus is without question on of the best voice acted villains video gaming has ever had thanks to David Warner.

Tony Jay was also incredible as the Transcendent One and Kresselack the Black Wolf.

Capt. Picard in oblivion. What a legend!

No no! Your dad in fallout 3 by Liam Neeson!
Hahaha! Ya gotta love the main quest in Fallout 3: "The search for Liam Neeson". (Or the search for Micheal Collins if your Irish!)
I'm irish and my mum knew Liam Neeson way back before he was in every movie ever made and I used Fallout 3 as leverage to convince her that games aren't all bad.. lol
Nice one!

He is like the Irish Samuel L. Jackson. He's in everything. Although Brendan Gleeson seems to be in everything aswell!

I would love to have said Sean Bean and Patrick Stewart in oblivion but it wasn't that great. I mean there was like 2 minutes of patrick stewart which is just insulting and Martin Septim was just such a douche that Sean Beans awesomeness had difficulty shining through. TBH though I think it was more due to how poor the speach in general was for oblivion, mainly due to a poor script that was too short.

My favourite has to be all the voice stuff for Dawn of War. It is just hilarious. Though I wouldn't exactly call that voice acting as there isn't any dialogue or anything.

Other than that I think the Bioshock voice acting was good despite the fact I didn't really enjoy the game.

The entire cast of Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64, excellent comedic acting! And of course Jon St. John aka Duke Nukem!

Most of the cast of Psychonauts, Ratchet and Clank (both Ratchets were good), and some others I can't remember.

I think Gears of War 2 is really great, but I'm sort of biased on that because I just always think it's funny knowing that Fenix is voiced by the same guy who does Bender's voice in Futurama.

I've always liked the Halo series voice acting, especially 2 and 3 where they found started getting a bunch of other people I recognized, and am still finding out about to this day (I didn't know that Laura Prepon from That 70's Show was in Halo 2 until recently, when I watched the video below). Gravemind is especially impressive if you know that he does most if not all the effects of the voice on his own, and really weird to see him do it, like in here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mGYPj7nh6Y.

Lucien in Oblivion and Admiral Hackett in Mass Effect.

Lucien's voice was perfect for the badass assassin. And Admiral Hackett's voice was awesome and fits for a Admiral of a space fleet!

Phil LaMarr gets props because of the sheer amount of voices he can produce (from standard black guy, to muthafuckin vamp!)

Keith David and Jennifer Hale's voices make superbabies they're so good.

While much of the voice acting in FO3 was pretty crap, Liam Neeson was great.

Quake 4. Or maybe Gears. Who can truly say they don't grin a little every time they hear Marcus's ultra-deep voice?
