Because I'm so incredibly mature, when the FEAR: Perseus Mandate review cuts to the sewer section and there's a big sign saying "BEWARE: POO" I always crack up. Also, in the appropriately scathing review of Jericho Yahtzee comments that the level designers "should be feeling ashamed of themselves" when the animation switches right on the 'f' to show the designers being fed to a shark. It's an excellent bit of comedy misdirection and timing and never fails to raise a chuckle.

Many agree that Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw is one of the greatest reviewers here on the Escapist.

I don't.

Although if you had to pin me down and suggest that he's funny, I'd agree whole-heartedly. As far as my favorite things he's said/done. As follows: (Also, taking this point to re-watch some old videos to get the exact wording down right, I miss the music that wasn't done by strangling an electric guitar.)

Also, the humor of using Tenacious D's "Tribute" right after Portal is a very clever add-on.

How this sort of question even descends into a "discussion" more than a "dick waving competition" is beyond me though - ones opinion wow and move along, you can't really discuss why mine is the best and yours all suck. Therefore, to my knowledge I've never used the phrase and will probably never again but...

As far as Iron Nate's comics, I agree that he does awesome work. We also have reviewers like SimuLord and RAKtheUndead to make very sexy, hard-hitting reviews. And people like me to only make a weak facsimile thereof.

EDIT - Good eye for SimuLord. There's a reason I don't usually try to write big or complicated words while it's in the AMs.
