Mailbag Showdown is one long, best moment. Also:

"If liking this shit make me stupid, then call me Retard McSpackypants; I'd rather be stupid and faving fun than bored out of my huge, genius skull."

Except for the part about it being a 25 year old man picking the worst of his criticism and responding to them with Ad Hominem attacks.
To be fair, the criticism was Ad Hominem too, as well as several other literary fallacies.

I just wish I could remember which review that was from.
I want to say Mailbag Showdown, I could be wrong, though.
EDIT - Yeah. Around 35 - 37 second in.

Also I agree with NewClassic (apologies for thiefing page) - he's funny, but in no way is he one of the greatest (I mean, have you seen the IronNinja's comics?!).
It's cool, hence why my dictatorship was temporary.

As far as Iron Nate's comics, I agree that he does awesome work. We also have reviewers like SimuLord and RAKtheUndead to make very sexy, hard-hitting reviews. And people like me to only make a weak fasimile thereof.
Weak fasimile (sic)? My first thought upon reading that bit of self-deprecating wit out of you was "wait, he doesn't have an Escapist Contributor badge? Editors, rectify this!"

Thanks for the compliment, I wish I could say there's some magic bullet to writing well but in point of fact it just comes down to "put some motherfucking effort into it and know your Strunk and White."

So maybe he should have, I dunno, responded to the ones that weren't the actual dregs, or even responding to the ones that had merit
But I believe that one of the main appeals of the weekly Zero Punctuation videos is its humour. It would appear to me that responding to attacks on your journalistic integrity with attacks on the attacker's integrity as a human being holds somewhat more potential for humour than an intellectual discussion. The public would rather watch an execution than a debate.

Put on your trenchcoat
and fight some conspiracies
Get experience
and level up abilities
Will you pick rifles
or computers
Don't pick swimming
because it's fairly useless
It's a shooter
and a role-playing game
The levels are ugly
and everyone looks the same
We aren't the same Ion Storm
that made Daikatana
Our games are good
and we stay on schedule

We made a sequel
that no one liked
cause we dumbed it down too much
cause we're thick

Weak facsimile (Now fixed, see yourself after class, Mr. Lassic). My first thought upon reading that bit of self-deprecating wit out of you was "wait, he doesn't have an Escapist Contributor badge? Editors, rectify this!"
It's probably because I never see myself in the same light. Even if I get upgraded to the rank of master lord general, I still always feel like the peon I started out as. It's prompted even a rant from me in the past [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.76153.893025], which is to say I'm so unused to being lumped in with the cool kids. Almost like I should feel like an Dickensian orphan sitting atop the snow-lined windowsill, staring at the warm fire and expensive dinner beyond my reach. But that's a discussion that's neither here nor there, I think.

Appreciate the vote of confidence, and I'm working out to have my own little spot on the land of grandeur that is "Guest Review Slot." I'm trying, darnit.

"God knows what would happen if you spread Branston Pickle onto No More Heroes, possibly the universe would end. And it would be awesome."

"And you know who I blame for all this? You! Yes, you the public!! Especially YOU, Adrien!!"(I like that because I have a friend named Adrien who loves Yahtzee's stuff)"And you get frightened by anything that you don't find "safe" or "familiar", in fact, I don't know why I'm even talking to you! Piss off. Close the browser and go f*** off back to Gears of War!!...Is he gone? GOOD I HATE THAT GUY!!!"

"While the enemy legedly blew us to Narnia!"

"I mean, it shoot shurikens and lightning! It could only be more awesome if it had tits and was on fire!"

"I have a gaming computer resembling the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey forged by the proud Dwarves of Middle Earth and it STILL chugs."(Oh, God, it hurts!)

"Why can't I marry my dog?!"

"Why are there holes in mommy?" "You'll understand when you're older."

"Never stick your dick in a pudding. It may still be good pudding, and you can spend all day explaining that, but no one's going to eat it because YOU STUCK YOUR DICK IN IT!!!!"

"I'm sure I sound like one of those Naruto-cosplaying, subtitle-watching Westerners who spend their free time chugging Pocky and cursing the roundness of their eyes."

"A man with a split-banana-head? What, did his little brother tormented by a smoothie when he was young?" Drink iiiiit! (I love the Drink iiiiiit part, it makes me crack up)

And finally, "This is a slab of wood with the word "resume" scribbled on it in crayon. Also you spelled it with three "s"'s.

So does he. NewClassic likes to make up silly names for people.

And now I've posted in this thread, great...

Gitsnik? This is all your fault.

Let it be known that I, the Iron Ninja, also scoff at the idea of a certain Ben Crosshaw being the best reviewer on the escapist.

In order for him to be the best reviewer he would actually have to review things, instead of just stringing together chains of criticisms for comedic effect.

Edit: Ha! You have been Ninja'd good sir, and by a Ninja no less.

I know [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.76363.907055].

I call The Iron Ninja (Nate, Iron Nate, FeNinja, Magistrate Ninja, Iron Nigel) lots of different things. But I do know about his comics. I proof a lot of them before they're even posted, oddly enough.
