The biggest BullShit ending for me was the ending to "Alone in the Dark", because it didn't come two hours earlier!

Another for a different reason was "the Dark Knight". This was easily the best movie made in the past ten years and ends amazingly and then I remember that Heath Ledger is dead and that there can't be(or at least very unlikly(but I'm still hopful)) another Batman movie this INCREDIBLE.

Yeah its disappointing that Heath died, because if he was still alive I bet they'd bring him back for it.

The end of AvP:Requiem, actually, all movies that end with a lead-on to the next movie that isn't even written. You don't close with a lead-on. You just...don't! Especially if there is no intention of continuing the series. I mean, c'mon, talk about a cheap case of blue balls! Conversely, I'd say the best ending to a movie came from The Kingdom (largely due to the cultural relativity).

Didn't read the 3 pages of stuff to see if it had been said but I felt really screwed over by the last Futurama movie. Thinking that it's going to be the last Futurama to ever be made, at the time.

Heh Don't worry, it hasn't.

Also Wordsmith wanted The Italian Job mentioned.

nick cage flick: Next
I thought it was really good until the end; it made me care for the character, the time-manipulation power was well down and it was generally well executed. then at the end, as a part of the protagonist's aforementioned time powers....
It turned out that the entire second half of the movie was a vision intothe future, that would now be changed due to the main character having it in the first place.

The Knowing w/ Nic Cage.

I was ready to name it my movie of the year...then...fricking aliens.

ALIENS AS THE REASON FOR A PLOT = BAD ENDING TO A MOVIE
I thought it was pretty good until I realized that it was made for biblehumpers, by biblehumpers.
EDIT: Also, the alien plot was pretty shit.

No Country for Old Men. I'm going to assume you know what happened. I mean, I know that it was intentional and all, but... well, that doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to be disappointed.
No kidding...No Country for Old Men was by far the most overrated movie I have ever seen!

I mean I don't like every movie that wins best picture and a slew of other awards, but I've never seen such a lauded movie and at the end of the movie not been able to figure out what it was the judges saw in it. I may not agree, but I can always get what they liked...but that one gave me complete vapor lock...someone please tell me what the hell was so special about that damn movie?!?

Agreed. Also, an additional thing that made me angry in the ending of the 2006 version is

the fact that the teenager survived! He was caught in a fucking explosion, and even if he survived that, he would be caught face-to-face with a giant death machine! I mean, we've established that the tripods take very few prisoners, and the few they take are likely experimented on/killed in a non-descript fashion! He should be a charred corpse, vaporized dust, a bloodless husk or a dead anal probe victim.
Bah, don't even get me started. I remember when every girl in the cinema was going 'ahhhh he's aliveeee!!' >_<

Garbage, however my teacher at the time made a good point, how can you end that film? You kind of can't end it well while adhering to the American movie conventions of 'yay it's all fine again, gold stars and toffee for all'.

Ugh the new terminator movie....

the good guys destroy the terminator production facility after which a voice-over basically declares that all of the their actions in the movie made little or or no difference to the world's current situation and that everything is pretty much the way it was at the beginning of the movie.

Basically a waste of nearly two hours of your life.

i think it's because the bad guy got the money in the end and still got away clean. something you do see in most films, if the bad guy gets away in other films it is because he or she is the antihero.

Transformers.

the villain gets the macguffin and act of getting the macguffin kills him. The heroes wasted 90 minutes trying to keep it from him.
For a few seconds, I agreed with you, however The All-Spark was meant to be of some other kind of use, I don't think he was going to merge with it, or Prime would had done that ages ago, instead of it being a last resort that Whitwickey didn't want to do. I will say this much though, 90 minutes of film, and what happened?
